We are debating whether to arrive and depart on weekends next spring or whether to travel mid-week--possibly arriving Thursday and leaving the following Wednesday. Traveling mid-week might save a little bit of money on airfare, but I'm wondering if we are better off traveling on the weekends and doing all the parks on weekdays. It seems like, from what I've read, Saturdays and Sundays might be more crowded. I'd love to hear opinions as we'll be able to book airfare and settle on dates later this week. I had never known you had to wait 331 days prior to booking! Thanks.........

We love travelling mid-week. It seems to me that the parks are less crowded on the weekends. The exception is MK, especially in the fall. If Spectro is only running on the weekend the park is extremely crowded in the evening.

I disagree with candykisses. We find that the parks, MK and Epcot in particular, are much less crowded on the weekdays. It sort of depends on when you are going. If it's July, then it will probably be crowded either way. We just came back and found that MK was awesome on a Tuesday but packed on a Saturday.

We would be going in May. If we choose to fly mid-week, then we'd go mid-May to avoid the Grad Night weekends.

My family and I just talked about this again and we all agree that travelling mid-week is what we like best.

Of course everyone has their own opinion :teeth: and that's fine.

We did a 15 day May trip and compared to our summer trips the crowds seemed markedly lower in all parks.
