Best days between 06/05 and 06/11?

We will be visiting LA between 5th June and 11th June. Which are going to be the best days for us to visit Disneyland and California Adventure? We were planning to Disneyland park on Tuesday 7th and California Adventure on Thursday 9th. We may do a third day, depending on how much we get done on the first two days. It's just the two of us (both 31 years old), so no kids to worry about, and we plan to get to the park for when it opens (which sounds like it will be 8am while we are there, which seems very early!).

Any tips or words of advice? Doesn't sound like it will be a quiet week to visit! We've been before (6 years ago), so we aren't worried if we don't do absolutely everything. We did WDW and Disneyland Paris last year, and have have been to all three resorts before so we know what we're doing as far as strategy once inside the park is concerned, but a bit of local knowledge and advice on the best days to visit for this trip would be a bonus!

1. Don't do DL one day and DCA another. Parkhop everyday. The parks are closer together even than the two at DLR Paris.

2. June 8 and 9 are grad nights. That may or may not work for you depending on your priorities. Personally I would skip grad nights as the park hours are shorter and the entertainment reduced.

3. Two major new rides will open June 3 which will impact crowds (Star Tours and Little Mermaid). I would try and avoid days when SoCal APs are unblocked.

With your dates I personally would choose June 10 and 11 (Fri/Sat)because of the AP blockouts. Second choice would be June 6 (Mon) and June 10.


4. Be aware of Magic Mornings. Unless you stay at a DLR hotel you will not have them. But others will.
