I have already posted this question, but I am new here and I think I have posted it in the wrong place.

Can anyone tell me which day of the week is best to go to DC? I have heard conflicting reports on whether I should go on Sat / Sun.

We are there last 2 weeks in October.

Thanks :)

Since DC limits the admissions for a day to a very comfortable number, I can't think of a reason one day would be better than another.

That is other than not being able to go on Sunday until after worship :thumbsup2

I don't think it matters which day you go as they limit the number of people.
We went during spring break and the date we were there it was completely sold out, so that means max capacity and it didn't feel crowded at all!

DC is one day that you schedule that you don't have to worry about which day to go to beat the crowds :) Schedule your other events and fit DC in on whichever day is left.

First of all, my Discovery Cove experience can be summed up in one word: AWESOME. :)

My husband and I went last year (third week of March 2007). I think they set the maximum amount of people in that park at 1,000 per day. We went on a Friday. Even though the park is not big (it could probably fit in the MK parking lot), it did not feel crowded at all. The only problem we had was finding a shady spot with chairs, but that was our fault because we did not take the time to stake out our spots first thing in the morning!

Any day should be good to go. Just be sure to get your chairs early! Enjoy it!

We booked for a Saturday. The idea being that the weekend's are a lot busier at other parks so if we use a weekend day at discovery cove (where they limit the amount of people any-way) we have more week days to go to the other parks when they may be less crowded.

As to the high price...

First, I think 99.99% of people who go will agree it's worth every penny.

PLUS, seven days admission to either SeaWorld OR Busch Gardens in Tampa is included in the Discovery Cove admission.

For $50 more you get 14 days at SeaWorld AND Aquatica AND Busch Gardens.
