I'm just about to pre book the tea party and I'm looking at either Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Would the weekends be much busier than weekdays in mid December or would it really not make much difference (it will be busy regardless)?

We are having lunch at Lucky Nugget on Friday so it will be after that, on Saturday we are going to Mickey's magical Christmas Dinner (so it would be before that) and Sunday we are having brunch at the Steakhouse (so it would be after that. So just trying to work out which day would be best and if it will not be so busy on the Friday compared to the weekends we will go then.

Thanks:goodvibes

To me, the best idea seems to be Sunady afternoon, otherwise you would have your tea (with loads of desserts!) packed too near to a main meal!

i was about to say the same thing :)
or could have early lunch on the fri @ lucky nugget and then the later tea party ( if they still do 2 sittings ??)

we did the steakhouse brunch @ 12pm,and then the tea party @ 5pm, on a sunday when we were there in aug

i thought i would be too full to eat much @ the tea party, but i forced myself ;)

:lmao: Yes well as we are on holidays, I was just going to force myself (and the rest of my family) to eat and eat a lot! :rotfl2:

This is our first trip to DLRP and travelling to Europe is long way (and the horrendous exchange rate of the Aussie$ at the moment compared to the pound and euro), so it is not somewhere we will be returning to really soon, so want to squeeze in as many things as possible and we LOVE character dining, love the interaction (and who am I kidding, we love the food! :rotfl2: ). My thought is, yes.... we will be overeating, but we will be walking it off :lmao:

So on the Friday, we were planning on booking for 12pm for lucky nugget and then the tea party about 5pm. We could go Sunday after the brunch, but would Friday not be as busy (in mid december before schools break up) as a Sunday afternoon?

Even midweek low season, the tea party can be fully booked, so I don't think it will matter, for busy-ness, which day you pick to go.

Thanks for that Elaine, so I guess it really doesn't matter which day we choose.

But I just have to ask if thats ok. I have been wondering for so long and have been busting to ask, but always thought no, I won't, but now I am going to :rotfl:

I have seen on so many of your signatures, "I've been BOO'd and then that bouncing character.

What does it mean?
