Best day of the week for Typhoon Lagoon

We will be at Disney August 17-25... can you tell me what day of the week is best for TL? We tentatively have either Monday or Thursday... can't decide which... Thanks.

The common advice given here is that earlier in the week is better, so Monday seems like it would be a great day! Weekends would probably have more locals (season passes) so it is generally recommended to avoid weekends.

Yes the thought is that most people hit the parks first, with the MK usually their first park, and water parks are something you fill in the rest of the week. So we have done DQ first and then a WP earlier in the week.

Though we don't do them as much as before, we are all getting older and WP's just seem like too much work.
