Best Day for Typhoon Lagoon from 8/18-8/24?

So we are coming down to the wire for our big trip. Following the crowd recommendations from various sources, we are looking at possibly hitting Typhoon Lagoon on Sunday, 8/19. Several boards I've seen mention that weekend days can be tough there due to local residents. Since we're doing this trip specifically to beat the crowds, I'm wondering if Sunday is the wrong day to go?

Hi,

I was just @ WDW in July and went to both waterparks. The castmembers told me to avoid the waterparks on the weekends b/c that's when the locals go. The best days for waterparks are earlier in the week...the later in the week you go, the more crowded they will be.

Local schools are back in session (as are many across the country) and most colleges are back in session during that time as well. Still, it would be wise to go during the week. Locals come out on the weekends as well as Fridays.
