best day for MK vs. Epcot in late February?

I am going to be at WDW for a few days before a Disney Dream cruise.

It will be at the tail end of winter break week and also princess half marathon weekend so I expect it to be busy. We are flying out on Thursday and I have 4 day park tickets... we will be in the parks Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday (before my parents will join us).

So Friday and Saturday will be my full park days.

Based on last year's hours, Friday is likely to have EMH at the MK, and last year it closed at 10pm for the DVC party (if they did that again I'd be thrilled).

Based on last year's hours Saturday the MK opened at 9am and closed at 11pm.

I know it will be crowded either way but I HAD been inclined to take advantage of MK morning EMH on Friday... but now in doing some crowd calendar research I am thinking I might want to do the reverse and do Epcot on Friday and MK on Saturday. Same amount of hours basically, just shifted and maybe slightly better crowds due to the lack of EMH.

Does anyone have any sense/experience about this? Sunday we'll do the MK until my parents arrive (late afternoon) and then do a nice dinner and a fireworks cruise (probably when the crowds are the least bothersome but it will be a low key day for them since it's a travel day).

thanks for any opinions.
