Anyone know the best current WDW ticket prices out there? UT through Mousesavers? Orbitz through Ebates?

I don't need them right now, I figure another price hike is in the future and I'd like to buy a couple more knowing we are going to use them over the years. If a better price is on the horizon I can just wait.

Oh believe me I am kicking myself I didn't buy them during that big Ebates/Orbitz deal earlier in the year. :headache:

Thanks. :)

That was the deal of ALL deals!:cool1:
The last time I checked, Orbitz was still cheaper than UT for the tickets I wanted.

If you buy your tickets through Orbitz, how do you add them to my Disney experiences?

Thanks - never been to Disneyworld before ever. Disneyland many times. We are going to be there in a month.

I bought our tickets through Ebates/Orbitz last week. About 3 days after I bought them, orbitz provided me with my Disney confirmation number. I had some trouble linking the number to the app. I called into Disney and they linked the tickets for me. Really wasn't a hassle at all and I got a $86 credit from Ebates. :)

I did a ton of research on this and the best deal I found was Orbitz/Ebates. Orbitz has a special right now for a three day pass with an additional two days free. The price for a Walt Disney World® Magic Your Way® Tickets (*3-Day Base Ticket + Water Park + 2 DAYS FREE) was $355.71 and I got an additional $10.67 in Ebates refund so that is $345.00 a ticket.:cool1:

If you're planning to go back anytime in the future get the 10 day no expiration tickets. Forget the park hopper...waste of money. You can't see everything in one day. If you do, you'll be exhausted...not much of a vacation. How long are you planning to stay? Doing Disney is not much of a relaxing vacation so be aware of that. It is very tiring. Wear comfortable shoes and use fast pass on the rides you are interested in. Do see the fireworks...i think it's the best part of the show. Epcot-illuminations, MGM-Fantastic, Magic Kingdom-Wishes. Enjoy.

So when orbitz says they're going to send you an email, and you have to go to the gate with photo id to be let in, that isn't true? I was looking at the Disney site and it showed you had to have the paper tickets with all the numbers on the back. Not so?

I would love to know more about ebates. :)

I just signed up with ebates and read a bunch of stuff. So you get 3% back on activities through Orbitz? is that right? And it looks like someone mentioned the 3 day with 2-day free, that isn't showing up now but the 4 day with 2 day free is. I did an unrelated hotel reservation for next week through the ebates portal (business trip) so I can see how it works.

Thanks for sharing any other tips on this process! I looked at Orbitz and couldn't figure out how to link the tickets to do fast pass ahead and all but wanted the discount.

I purchased my 3 day, 2 free ticket on Monday afternoon. I'm surprised it's gone.

Yes, the best deal I found was Ebates/Orbitz. Got 3% back, which def pales in comparison to the whopping 20% they offered earlier in the year. I could cry, too.

Orbitz does have info on their site about how to link the tix so you can do the fast pass. Today's Wednesday and I don't have my Magic Code info yet, but should have it by tomorrow so that I can link.

I've been watching the Ebates Daily Doubles for months now. I've noticed that they will have Orbitz as the daily double at least once a month. I purchased my tickets through Orbitz using Ebates and got 6% back on them. So if you don't need your tickets right away and can wait a few weeks...subscribe to the daily double email and wait til it's 6%. As for linking my tickets to MDE...you log into your orbitz account a few days after your purchase and your disney ticket confirmation number will be available. You just link that number to your MDE. I had trouble getting it to link so I called Disney and they linked it for me. So 3 days after I bought my disney tickets through Ebates/Orbitz I had them linked to MDE and then I set up my FP. :)

If you're planning to go back anytime in the future get the 10 day no expiration tickets. .

sadly the no expire option is ridiculous now:confused3 it's not worth it unless you plan to take 3 trips using it..... not cost effective in most circumstances anymore....

Somebody posted a link regarding Universal tickets, and they also sell Disney tickets. Here's the link for the Disney tickets: http://store.usssa.com/Products/121-disney-world-theme-park-tickets.aspx.

I don't know anything about this company, but I did send them an e-mail yesterday inquiring if their tickets would work with the MDE, and they responded: "These tickets can be added to the My Disney Experience app and you can plan your trip."

Their prices seem really good. I was looking at the five-day Hopper/WP+more tickets. Do take note that you have to choose the time-frame for the tickets, as they have a drop down box with different expiration dates. (My dates for November are not available yet.)

Those prices are ridiculous! Where did you find this website? Seems almost too good to be true! We aren't going until February but I have this site bookmarked.

It was on the Universal board, and the Universal ticket prices were really good, too. (We're doing a split trip in November)

Special tickets like these are available to people who have meetings, conventions or competitions in the Orlando area. That's why you need to choose dates for your attendance.

A couple of things to note:
  • The tickets expire shortly after the dates of meeting/convention/competition and cannot be used more than a few days prior to the start. They aren't kidding about those "valid dates"!
  • Tickets cannot be upgraded to more days or more options.

Thanks for chiming in Marionnette!! Neither of those things scare me, so this could be a really great buy for some of us (I calculated a $50 savings per ticket).

Thanks for that info-I would have bought the 3 day park hopper and upgraded to 5 day without that information. Either way, the 5 day PH W/Water is still better than any other 5 day Park hopper deal I've seen. (Other than Orbitz/Ebates)

Thanks for sharing your opinion but we happen to enjoy hopping. Many of our park visits are only 1-2 days pre-cruise and don't want to be stuck in 1 park all day. After a few visits, you know what you like & what you don't like so there's no need to do every single ride in every park.
If Epcot has EMH til midnight, we can easily hit our favorites at AK then hop to Epcot when AK closes.
Also if a park has evening EMH, that park tends to be the most crowded park that day. Those who can't hop are stuck there with the crowds while hoppers enjoy a less crowded park then return for EMH.
Guessing from OP's signature (pics & countdowns) she has done WDW more than once. ;)

Everyone has their own way of park touring. There's no right or wrong way. :goodvibes

Is that site for anyone? Or do i need to be a part of a special group?

Thank you everyone, I will check out that link and the current Orbitz deals. :) I am still annoyed with myself that I didn't grab the Orbitz/Ebates deal back when it was such a good deal, I have to get over my non-purchasing remorse and move on with life. :upsidedow
