So what are your favorite breakfast items either in Carsland or BVS? Preferably something with protein in it, not a sugar rush so please don't say a cupcake/donut/muffin and coffee. :)

Also, we aren't going to be over by Pacific Wharf area in AM so even if your fav is over there, it won't be helpful.

I found that DCA doesn't have a lot of choices for breakfast. I think Starbuck's has breakfast sandwiches and stuff and Flo's has breakfast. You can look on www.allears.net for the menu.

We didn't eat at either of them, the lines were super long. So I don't know how the food is, but I know lots of people on here like Flo's.

When having breakfast at the parks, we go to DL and head to the Riverbelle. Their scrambled eggs and bacon are good. We skip the potatoes and buy their really good fruit plate.

Yes, I have already looked at the menus. Also we know the places we like at DL park. I was hoping that those who have eaten at either Flo's or FF&P Cafe would have some favorites they can recommend.

I read several posts that the turkey sandwich at Jolly Holiday Bakery was dry so we avoided that on our last trip. Just thought there would be some favorites or things to avoid at CL/BVS since we will very likely be eating at least one breakfast in those locations. Thanks!

We had breakfast at Flo's in July and were overall disappointed. The eggs were terrible! We even mentioned them to a CM lead the next day when we were complimenting the staff on the dinner we had just finished at Flo's. He was really happy to hear we enjoyed dinner, but when I mentioned the eggs he just started shaking his head and admitted that the CMs already knew they were terrible and they had been seeing a lot of them in the trash bins. If they've improved the eggs since July, I'd give them another shot but if not, there's no way I would eat those again! I also didn't particularly enjoy the potatoes, but my DS13 polished mine off. He also had the waffles and said they were fine, pretty basic but fun. DS11 actually had the eggs and bacon cone from the Cozy Cones and really liked it; he tends toward simple or bland tastes though. His cone eggs looked a lot better than our eggs though.

We did not enjoy our breakfast at Flo's in June either. We had the plain breakfast platter. The eggs were really bad. A lot of people ordered the chicken tamale plate, but I can't speak to it. We also split the cinnamon roll (french toast?). It was good, but way too sweet to be your entire breakfast.

Thank you. We would have gotten the eggs at Flo's but I certainly don't want bad tasting eggs. Was wondering if the Brioche French Toast was overly sweet.

Anyone had breakfast food at the Fidler, Fifer and Practical Cafe? Do they serve anything that has protein for breakfast? Eggs, meat or cheese in it?

We got the chicken green chile tamale and egg dish at Flo's and it was good. The eggs were a little, uh...moist? but when eaten with the tamale (which was perfect texture) and the warm tomatillo green salsa...it was quite nice. I wish it had been a little more warm though. I wouldn't put in on my 'must eat again' list, but it was a nice meal to celebrate getting on RSR.

I really wish they had a breakfast burrito cone at the Cozy. Woudln't that rock? A soft four tortilla cone filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese, green chile and bacon? pop on a mini ice cream scoop of sour cream and a salsa topping? :thumbsup2

but in reality, we usually take care of breakfast with some zone or granola bars, fruit, cheese sticks and yogurt in our small cooler. I'd rather spend the $$ on other things.

I had the breakfast tamale at Flo's back in August, and loved it. My Son also had the tamale and enjoyed it as much as I did. In fact I enjoyed it so much I had it again on a trip in September. I would definetly order it again. :tink:

They do have a breakfast cone at Cozy Cone - had it last weekend. Bread cone with scrambled eggs, cheese sauce, and one (pretty tiny) piece of bacon. It was pretty good! I think they have another one with eggs, queso fresco and maybe salsa?

also at fiddler I saw breakfast sandwiches like with eggs and canadian bacon, maybe sausage? Looked like Starbucks food in there to me....

The view walking into Carsland from the Wharf is amazing! The croissant breakfast sandwhich is dang good too! :tink:

And has good reasonably priced egg and bacon bread bowls or breakfast croissant sandwichs. :goodvibes

We found with the egg and bacon bread bowls, the eggs and bacon were cold and although eating the bowl is filling, it's a lot of bread!
Much preferred Flo's as the food wasn't cold and would rather have a biscuit than those huge bread bowls.
