Im looking the best credit card with low interest and frequent flyer mile benefits

I have the southwest card. I really love Southwests change policies and their frequent flier program.

It's interest rate is ok, but I pay it off every month so I don't really have experience with it. It does have an annual fee but you get it back in miles, which if you fly often it makes it cancel out.

They also have a promotion where they give you 50,000 miles for spending (and paying off) 2,000 in the first 3 months.

I fly to Florida frequently and so for me getting the miles back for pretty much the only airline I can fly was important. I'd say base your decision not only off interest rates, but also what airline you can use.

Any rewards you get in terms of miles (or points, or cash back) are pretty much cancelled out with the interest you pay if you carry a balance. Even with a low interest rate. Rewards cards work best when you pay in full every month. Just my advice.

That said, perhaps the US Airways card might work. It gives a sign-up bonus as well as rewards for doing a balance transfer within the first 90 days. The link is on the US Airways page.

My personal favorite is the AMEX card offered to Costco members. We always get a very healthy rebate from Costco AND Amex (amounted to over $600 last year) and there is NO annual fee.

I have no idea about the interest rate as I 100% pay in full each and every month.

It's a fantastic deal for us. We get $$$ back and it costs us nothing. And, more than pays for the Costco membership (which we would have anyway).

The only downside is that there are places that do not accept AMEX. So, we have a Visa card (nothing special) that we use at those places. Probably less than 10% of the amount we charge in a given year.

Nice! :)

I have a US Bank rewards card. Lots of perks to choose from. I use my for flights. Any flight on any airline booked through Travelocity that is $400 or less "costs" 20,000 miles. (Goes up from there.) They also give you a $25 allowance per ticket for airline expenses such as a checked bag. I also have a Delta amex card. Basically, it sucks. I only use it for the free luggage check and priority boarding.
