What do you mean about the CSR?I will follow along 4x is pretty great, Wells Fargo is never on my radar for cards. And with the news on CSR not getting 3x on other travel many will be looking for new options.
There are rumors going around that the Chase Sapphire Reserve will be changing things up and "Other Travel" will now only earn 1x from its current 3x which DVC would probably fall into. What do you mean about the CSR?
Hmm, I wonder if that will apply to my cruise charges, too. There are rumors going around that the Chase Sapphire Reserve will be changing things up and "Other Travel" will now only earn 1x from its current 3x which DVC would probably fall into.
Yes it would. Here is an article showing the possible changes, nothing is confirmed yet though. https://www.doctorofcredit.com/rumo...e-to-increase-annual-fee-to-795-new-benefits/Hmm, I wonder if that will apply to my cruise charges, too.

Let us know know how it codesThanks. Not sure how I feel about that...
I did go ahead and make some Sapphire Reserve Tables reservations for a trip I have coming up to New Orleans. I really needed another reason to eat there... Lol.
I just paid $10 in advanced dues for DVC with my Attune card to see how it codes. Hoping WF adds some more transfer partners. They have 1:2 with Choice, which is pretty good because I have gotten some 1ccp redemptions with them. So 4x points transferred 1:2 turns into 8% equivalent. Not sure I can find a better way to pay for DVC dues than that. If it works.
Staples has a lot of sales where they will offer Visa and MC $200 cards with the activation fee waived. Office Depot and Office Max will also offer sales on V/MC cards of $15 off $300 in cards. Activation fees are approximately $7.95. So if buying 3 cards you would pay $593.85 and get the 5% back. It gets better for OM/OD as they have many times had Chase offers where they will give you a statement credit as well.I have been using my Chase Ink Preferred which gets x3 on travel and has a $95 Annual Fee to pay DVC dues. But I just got a Chase Ink Business Cash which gets x5 UR points for gift cards purchased at office supply stores. So next year I plan on paying dues with Disney Gift Cards.
Sad news if true, especially for new direct purchasers and for dues payments. I would definitely do discounted gift cards and auto draft for dues if that happens. That is what I did this year anyway.Yes it would. Not that I know of but if you double dip and buy gift cards at a discount with your rewards card it is usually much better than the standard 5% red card discountDo any of these credit card rewards programs end up being a better deal than the easy 5% discount by using Disney gift cards purchased with a Target red card?

Costco DGC deals is very rare. But you can catch them at Sams Club a couple times per year.I remember Christmas 2023 Costco had Disney gift cards for 10% off I think it was. Plus my Costco VISA rewards plus the Costco executive membership reward. What a great deal. I bought as many as I could. I wish they did it again this year but they didn't.
