Best counter service place at HS?

Looking at menus and nothing stands out?

Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, BC/YC. Seriously, the options are a little limited. We like the Caprese Sandwich at Backlot Express or eat at the outside walk up for Brown Derby.

There is no such thing as good counter service at HS. The best is still really bad. We don't do QS there, only TS

Leave and walk to the Swolphin/Boardwalk or Epcot? Seriously, for not much more money, the HDB Lounge is excellent for the price and its relaxing.

We ate at backlot express and enjoyed it. Had burgers and chicken salads. It wasn't awesome, but we felt it was tasty and would surely go back.

PizzeRizzo was pretty good. The side salad wasn't great but the pizza wasn't bad.

Backlot Express is the "best" but that's not saying much.

With the menu changes in the last couple years, we thought Backlot was good. The burger with the pulled pork was hugs,, different, and yummy. The peanut butter cupcakes are soooooo tasty, and I liked the caprese sandwich and the chicken tenders. Simple, but real chicken and delicious.

If you can get an ADR go to Mama Melrose and share a flatbread and salad. It is what we do eating at DHS other than getting a big meal at 50's.

I actually love the sandwiches at Starring Rolls and the cupcakes are out of this world! That being said, I was always a fan of Pizza Planet and I am looking forward to trying out Pizza Rizzo next trip.

We generally end up at Backlot Express. They have pretty good burgers and they always have a good "seasonal" cupcake. We also really like that the drinks are free refills.

Thinking about heat in the summer...is Backlot Express cooled down enough? or I think ABC Commissary has AC correct?
We have never been in the summer and we will definitely need a big dose of AC at midpoint. Wondering if we just book 50s prime time and split meals.

Backlot Express has indoor seating as well. That is our go to if we are there for lunch. I haven't tried too much near RNR but some people love those selections but no AC or indoor seating
