What are the best Counter service spots at each park and why do you think its the best????

My family loves the Hungry Bear Restaurant up in Critter Country. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches & club sandwiches. The food was all served hot & it had good flavor. You have a choice of fries or grapes here & I like that option (vs apples at a lot of the other places). The setting can't be beat. You sit next to the Rivers of America & can watch the boats & canoes go by. If you sit on the bottom level near the water, you can watch & feed the ducks. There is ample seating, it is outdoors but covered.....great escape from the heat & crowds!!!

We also like the Taste Pilot's Grill in DCA. The burgers & bbq chicken sandwiches are very good!!! They have indoor & outdoor seating. We usually get our order & find a spot to catch the parade. They have a "toppings" bar so you can fix up your burgers the way you like them. The fries are criss-cross & usually hot & good!

Taste Pilot's Grill has cheddar burgers which you can add pickles, mayo, mustard, ketchup, leafy lettuce, tomatos, onions, and barbecue sauce. All veggies are fresh. Criss cross fries and onion rings are the best also.

Coke corner has hot dog and chips for cheap and they make them gluten free for me.

Pacific Wharf cafe has bread bowls and right behind the entrance to Pirates is another great bread bowl site but some do not like the chilli at Pacific Wharf.

Corn dogs are great also and available at the Red Wagon in front of the Plaza Inn and at the Corn Dog Castle.

Catch a Flav has the best ice cream.

Avoid hot dogs from carts. Turkey legs are great but the gristle and tendons and gease is too much for me.

I really agree with this. HungryBear has been spotty. Like Pizza Port.

Rancho del Zacholo at DL is a nice change from park food. You can get veggies as a side instead of beans and rice. It's beautiful sitting under the bougainvillas and watching BTRR going by. We've also sent a runner to get our food while we wait in the Golden Horseshoe to watch Billy Hill. It actually took less time than if we ordered in the Golden Horseshoe!

This is my favorite eatery in the Disneyland Resort. The Gumbo place in New Orleans Square ranks in my top ten lunches I've ever had.

At Disneyland we love Pizza Port for the chicken fusilli pasta. We also like Rancho Del Zocalo - specifically the Hacienda salad.

At DCA we love Farmers Market for the chicken caesar salad. If you want burgers, Taste Pilots Grill is very good.

DCA- Whitewater Snacks. They have fridges you can grab things from or cook to order meals. It is a quiet place to take a lunch break. Ok, so it isn't actually in DCA, it is in the GCH but it is closer the Rapids ride than say, the boardwalk rides. Very short walk.

DL- I like Bengal BBQ or the Rancho for something different to eat. The Hungry Bear has a fabulous seating area but I thought their hamburgers where nothing special. They did have funnel cakes which I might like to try if I could find someone to split it with.

Hungry Bear for the burgers and watching the Mark Twain sail by.
Plaza Inn for a good chicken dinner at the hub.
Rancho Del Zocalo (sp?) for a change of pace.

Plaza Inn for great fried chicken and generous servings, though I agree with others that Rancho del Zocalo has the nicest seating area.

Pacific Wharf Cafe at DCA - LOVE those sourdough bread bowls!!!!

In DL we really like Pizza Port. Good food and large portions. We also really like Rancho Del Zocalo (we try to eat here every trip), we really like the food and again, large portions, I get the grilled veggies with mine instead of the beans. YUM!

In DCA our favorite is Taste Pilot's Grill, another one we try to hit every trip. The food is just YUMMY!!!! good burgers, good chicken, good ribs, great condiments and the fries are criss cut, my fave! Sooooooooooo yummy!!! We also like Corn Dog Castle in DCA.
