I have just started researching who to use for hair and makeup. I was wondering who other brides have used and liked/disliked

i'm using ana with beaute special! a lot of girls on here have used her and have raved about her skills! she was super nice when i spoke with her and she's priced competitively as well!!!

I am using Patricia LeJeune (www.lejeune-pca.com). She is reasonably priced, does airbrush makeup, and is so friendly and accomodating - she won't stop until you have exactly the look you want. I'd heard some horror stories about brides getting a different look than what they asked for...

We used Lisa (you only have to call her by her first name around here ). She is used frequently with great results. We had a great time with her and her asst. Our hair and makeup turned out great. She even was able to tune-down my sunburn from the Florida sun!! www.lisasmagicalweddings.com

I used Anna with Makeovermajic (http://www.makeovermajic.com). She was so pleasant to work with and did an excellent job at helping me deal with my family and DH's family. They are a really tough group, especially after the fighting the night before. She was definately excellent and did a superb job on everyone. I used Janet Mednick for makeup and hair. YOu can view her website at www.onsitebeauty.com I found her price to be reasonable and competitive.

She was very friendly and did a great job. She used Mac cosmetics and I was seriously amazed at how well it held up in the 95 degree humidity that day!

She has a lot of experience with Up-dos and did a great job with mine! Here are a few pics...

I used Ana from Beaute Speciale for my hair and makeup and loved her. She was professional, friendly, fast, and good. My hair and makeup lasted from 5:00am until 7:30pm. I used Lisa Pena for the moms' and my MOH's hair and makeup and I was less than thrilled with her. She did an ok job, but I didn't care for her personality at all.

I used Anna from Makeover Majic. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made it even better! She was FANTASTIC and quick!!
She's got a great personality and was a lot of fun to work with.

Thanks everyone! After speaking to Janet and Patricia I am using Patricia LeJeune. My final decision between the two was really the fact that Patricia does hair while her assistant does make up and that means my bridal party can sleep in a little later!
