Best codes for Rental cars?

Just wondering what everyone has found has worked best for them. I have been trying every possible code for our upcoming rental from MCO for July 7-17 and the best I am finding is using Hertz with CDP 22754 and coupon 116196. I was able to get $249.70 taxes in for an intermediate. But I really want to get it under $200.

So maybe as a resource for others (and for me too ), post your best deal codes, what agency, dates, size of car and final price you were able to find.

Since all codes work for different dates, sizes, etc...maybe one will work!

If you belong to Costco, the code for Alamo always ends up being the best deal no matter where we are--MCO, DFW or Heathrow, Costco/Alamo is always the best.

I always check dollar and try with no codes at all, that'll usually shoot up a "florida specials" prompt which has good deals some times. Also with dollar, try promo code ooag. Then, compare with using corp code oi1054. Just some ideas...

Check mousesavers.com - they have all the most recent discount codes listed on their website.

Then just go to the various websites and enter your travel dates, pick-up and return times, vehicle type and check any other appropriate areas that apply. Even if you have discount coupons/codes, try different options at each rental company to see what rates are available. Sometimes, there is a minimal rate increase from one vehicle class to another (economy to compact or compact to mid-size). It just depends on the vehicle reservation forecast for each vehicle class at each company.
