I was able to book the 40% code without a pin back when it was posted on these boards. (I'm a little scared to admit that here - but when I first booked it I really thought it was probably a public code). I have finally talked my parents into going - if I could get them a discount, so I called back today to give it a try. The first time I called the CM was somewhat of a dud and said No, that's been discontinued. So, I called back later and got someone wonderful! This CM put me on hold and tried for a long time to apply the code. She came back on and said I needed a pin for a new room, but they would not take away my existing reservation. About 10 minutes later, she called back and said they found a PIN under my husband's name and yes, I could use it for my parent's room.
She was so nice and helpful. This is how all CM's should be. In recent years I have talked with some not so nice ones, so I really appreciate the ones who do their jobs and act like customer service reps!
