We had been thinking of taking our 4 yr old son to Race Rocks, but I understand that it has now closed.

Has anyone been to any non- disney themed resturants that have things to entertain a little boy (possibly car related)??

Try the Nascar cafe in Universal City walk, there are displays of Race cars and tv screens showing races, there is also an amusement arcade attached/ Fofd is good and cheap.

I cant think of any car places but my two love Planet Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney. They also love Hard Rock Cafe at City Walk

hi
i took my lot to pirates, and it wasnt that good, to be honest we all got a bit bored, it was a bit long winded and food was poor.

maybe someone else had a better experience

That's a shame, sorry you didn't enjoy it.

Thanks for letting me know. We'll probably still try it as DS really wants to do this.

Pirates Dinner Adventure doesnt really appeal to us but we have good friends who really really enjoyed it :yay: They have two boys, aged 11 and 8 and it was just their 'thing' :)

I think if pirates is what your DS is keen on you will have a good night.

Junior is 9, so I think he is at the perfect age for it Tracey. And as far as im concerned, if he is having fun then I know I will be too :)

Do they have much audience interaction?

I agree. When we were there in December I think they were refubishing it.

Is Jungle Jims at crossroads Lake Buena Vista still open,? our kids enjoyed this one a few years ago.
