My wife and I are considering getting tickets for Drawn To Life for our upcoming January trip. There are still $85 seats in the upper and lower level for the night we're looking at. They are on the side, but there are some second section back row seats downstairs. Since the theater setup is the same as La Nouba, would those of you who've been to that or Drawn To Life recommend the lower or upper level seats?

We saw La Nouba several times and always had seat in the lower section. Have not been to the new show yet, but would expect the seats in the lower section to still be better. We have been in both with La Nouba, and didn't see a lot of difference. No idea with the new show. Hoping to go in the next year.

Arena is not large. Every seat is good. The back is in some ways better since you have the height to view all of the action and stage.
Only issue is the leg room is tight.
Saw the show in previews before shut down and stage and set up is the same.

I personally like the upper seats as you don't miss action that happened behind you with la noeba when sitting in low arena. .

Agreed. We also prefer the upper seats because there is usually stuff going on in the theater with the Cirque shows.

To the OP, we would avoid the seats to far to the sides because you can miss some stuff. We would prefer higher up with a better angle on the stage than lower and off in a corner. But a previous poster mentioned it earlier - there really isn't a bad seat in the theater - just some seats are extra good!

We went with the upper level seats and as close to the middle as we could get in the $85 seats. I've heard that with Drawn to Life there is animation, I assume behind the stage, that interacts/compliments the performers so I wanted to make sure we could se that.

How would you review those seats? Worth it to upgrade to the next level or were the cheap seats at that location fine?

Upper level, definitely. I got to see La Nouba from the tech booth once, and it was absolutely the best view in the house.

We sat close last week and I’m split on that choice. Some acts it is great being close but there were times that being close is a bit overwhelming. I think some acts are better seen farther away. And don’t sit up close dead center. Be at least a few seats off center. That thing in the middle blocks views.
