I am thinking I want to plan a character meal for breakfast. Reason being we will be eating breakfast in our rooms so I thought this might be a welcome change come mid week.

My ? is which one is a good one to go to? My kids are 8 and 11.

I know CInderellas is a popular one, but it is probably not one I want to go too. But I can always be persuaded. LOL

Our favorite breakfast hands down is Crystal Palace in the MK. :) The food is always delicious here - it is my hubby's favorite. I love seeing Tigger & the character interaction is always great here. You will get to see Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet & Tigger.

Hope this helps!:)

It is MUCH more relaxed-- great character interaction and good food minus the rush and noice of some others.

Another vote for Cape May Cafe! It is our absolute fave!

For food and atmosphere I prefer Cape May over Ohana's, Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare, but it is not a very convenient place to get to unless you are staying in a Boardwalk resort.

For breakfast we love 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. It was great!! For dinner we love Chef Mickey's :wave2:

I personally like Chef Mickey's. Dh does too, in fact it kind of has become a tradition to have breakfast there when we go. That is one thing dh says is a must, bfast at Chef Mickey's

We went to Cape May last week. My kids are almost the same age as yours. They loved it. Crispy Cream donuts (which we do not have around here). We made 10 AM reservations. First we went to Epcot (early open), went on a few rides and then walked over to Beach Club and then back to Epcot. It was very nice.

I think any of the major three people have mentioned are great. I prefer 1900 Park Fare if it's a day your not doing the parks. If your doing the parks, do Crystal Palace!!! They are both Wonderful

It depends on a lot of things. Where will you be the day of your breakfast? If you are going to be in AK, there is a great DD meal there, if you are going to be at MK, are you going to want to leave and go to the Contemporary or stay at the MK and eat at Crystal Palace. We have found that we enjoy the evening character meals more because in the morning, the kids just want to hit the parks and they aren't ready to slow down for a sit down meal until at least lunch time.
If you are traveling with any young girls, I think Cinderella's breakfast is the gold standard of character meals.

:D

Chef Mickey's. Great breakfast and awesome character interaction. Be sure to bring your camera.

By area, these are my favorites....
AK...Donald's Breakfastasaurus...good food, good characters

MK...Crystal Palace if you'll be in the park. If not, 1900 Park Fare at the GF.

MGM...I'm not crazy about any of the restuarants here, so I would get over to Beach Club and do Cape May.

Epcot...same as above!

Now, all this being said...I just love Chef Mickey's. It is traditionally our first meal at WDW. Usually dinner. And looks like it's shaping up to be our last breakfast now too.
