We are going back to Disney in June and I want to plan another character meal. Thus far, we have had character meals at Poly for breakfast, Chef Mickey's for breakfast and breakfast at the Castle with Cinderealla and friends. I have two children 13Boy and 8 girl and I want both of them to be happy. Can anyone reccommend a fun and delicious character meal? I was thinking maybe dinner at the castle or the dinner at the Grand Floridian? Thanks!

One of our favorites is dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern @ Magic Kingdom.

It's a must do every year.

Breakfast at Cape May we enjoyed.

For us, our "must-do's" are the following:

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's
Breakfast or Lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table
Lunch at Crystal Palace
Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

This year, we're also trying Donald's Breakfastasauras at the AK & Garden Grill at Epcot.

1900 Park Fare looks wonderful, and, some day, I'll be able to fit it into our plans! (I thought about scheduling breakfast at 1900 Park Fare instead of at Chef Mickey's, but then decided we couldn't give up Chef Mickey's.) But, I'm wondering if your son would like dinner there - it seems a little "girly" if that's the only character meal you're doing.

Liberty Tree Tavern is great - but Mickey's not there - just Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, & Dale. Food is yummy - served family-style.

At the Garden Grill at Epcot, the food is also served family-style. The characers are Mickey & Chip & Dale, and the restaurant slowly revolves as you're dining.

I love meals at the castle - at dinner, it's the Fairy Godmother & the mice (Suzy & Perla) - they don't circulate among the tables, but they have a special "wishing presentation" thing they do in the dining room. Cinderella is in the lobby for pics.

Breakfast at Cape May Cafe looks cute.

Donald's Breakfastasauras looks like another fun one - we're trying it this year for the first time. The servers sometimes even get into the characters' antics.

Our vote is for Crystal Palace and Donald's Breakfastosaurus. For resort meals I like Cape May Buffet. Chef Mickey's is too frenetic for me.

I'd say either Crystal Palace for lunch, or Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. Liberty Tree only has the characters at dinner, not at lunch.

We enjoy
Crystal Palace at MK
Garden Grill at Epcot

CP is our family's favorite and DS loves Donald's and he'll be 15 this year.

Our favorite was Chef Mickey's for Dinner. We are trying the breakfast this year. CRT was our second favorite, we did lunch. We didn't love Crystal Palace.

We didn't like Donalds Breakfastasaurus. The only other character meal we did was CRT before the Feb. changes. Don't know if it would be worth it with the price increase.
