Best character meal? No buffets..

The Storybook Dining at Wilderness Lodge is a prefix meal, so no buffet. Characters are Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and the Evil Queen.

Also, depending on who you want to meet I’ve enjoyed Be Our Guest dinner in the past.

Be Our Guest is NOT a Character meal. Most evenings- not guaranteed - the Beast is in his study for pictures after you eat. No characters go Table to table etc

GG breakfast- I'm another fan. I'm super-picky about my scrambled eggs, and these made me happy.
lots of character time & changing scenery, too! It's a must-do for us.

Akershus appetizer course is a buffet. They call it the "taste of Norway." It's basically cheeses and cold cuts, salad and fruit.

For a while Akershus took the "buffet" away. We have breakfast there during that experiment, so some of the orfferings that had been on the buffet were served at our table. It do not last long though.

My fave character breakfast, non buffet, is Garden Grill. SO YUMMY! Food is fresh and delicious...and the characters are just so darn cute. I love chip & dale.

During breakfast at Akershus, cold items, pastries, and breads were all at the buffet while the hot items were served family style to your table. I would say 50% of our food came from the buffet during that meal.

Garden Grill is our favorite non-buffet character meal.

We did two character breakfasts on our trip, because my friend who goes all the time said specifically it's hard to screw up breakfast food and if you're paying OOP breakfast is cheaper

We did both 'Ohana and Garden Grill. Personally 'Ohana was a one and done for us. We could eat at Garden Grill every morning for the rest of our lives.
