I've got the Crystal Palace Pooh Breakfast for my 2 year old who is obsessed with Pooh and the Akerhus Princess Lunch for my princess loving 4 year old daughter and while I know my 6 year old son will enjoy both, can you recommend one more character meal you think he would most enjoy? Thanks!

have you tried Cape May Cafe? Goofy, Minnie and Donald are there and we personally love it. Also i think 1900 Park Fare is good too for breakfast and i think that might be something all three would enjoy. The last time i was there i think Pooh and Tigger were there as well as Mary Poppins, Alice and the mad Hatter! It was a great mix and a very fun breakfast when we went there,

Depending on which characters he likes I would say Tuskerhouse or 'Ohana. I liked Tuskerhouse a bit better since we were in the park before it opened and could go right to the safari at 9, but 'Ohana was fun too. We did both last year and are doing both again this year.

I would recommend Chef Mickey's, Tusker house Donald's Safari breakfast or breakfast at 'Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.

He is not obsessed with specific characters, other than Cars which I know there is no meal for, like the other two are. We have never done any character dining so the two I mentioned above will be our first experience. On our first family trip I didn't plan any character dining or time to meet characters in the parks because my kids had always been scared of Chuck E Cheese and such. However, when we got to WDW they absolutely LOVED the characters and I knew character dining would be a must for our upcoming trip.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Is Tuskerhouse only breakfast (with characters)? The lunch/dinner menu sounds so good! (We're vegetarian and we eat a lot of ethnic food.)

My DS who was 7 when we went last July (2010) LOVED the character breakfast at Ohana with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. We got great pictures, and they had awesome character interaction.

The food is brought to your table so you don't have to worry about missing a character while you are at a buffet. :wizard:

That sounds like fun and he likes the Lilo and Stitch movie. Not to mention that I'd love to poke around the Polynesian Resort!

I also recommend Ohana or Tusker House. Both are my faves, and very different from eachother!! It all depends what atmosphere you feel like and if you want buffet or a sit down. Cant go wrong with either. :thumbsup2

We loved tuskerhouse. Breakfast food was wonderful 8AM ADR was perfect, picture, eat, and then leave before AK opens.

Let me throw 1900 Park Fare's breakfast into the mix. The Mad Hatter is HILARIOUS and my seven year old son adores him! Pooh and Tigger, Alice and Mary Poppins are there, too, but really for us, the Mad Hatter was the highlight of the meal!

Although you've got to have a meal with Mickey!

Mary

I think that Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House at AK is the best for young boys, with Chef Mickeys and Ohana with Lilo and Stich close behind.

Tusker House breakfast

My son also thought eating at Sci Fi was so cool (no characters).
Also, Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex are "cool" albeit no characters

My son also likes Remy...so we are trying for Chefs lunch and hope we get seated at the right time and Remy isn't broken (I didn't make any promises to him)

My son is 5 and this year we are doing: Tusker House breakfast, Ohana dinner (there is some entertainment there), Cape May dinner (he loves seafood, no characters at dinner), Chefs lunch, 1900 Park Fare breakfast (my son loves Mad Hatter), Crystal Palace breakfast (my son still likes Pooh), Sci Fi lunch...I keep thinking about adding T-Rex, but we have so much food already :lmao:

Sounds like fun!! We did go to T-Rex last trip when the kids were 4, 2 and 18 months and it was a huge hit.

Hmmmmm......on Chef's. I'd like to eat there! What does Remy do there?
