We are planning a trip with our 4 year old princess. If we only do one character meal, which is the best? My daughter is a total princess fan, but I don't like the idea of the pre-plated food at CRT. She is a very picky eater, I think the Crystal Palace sounds like a better value. But, my daughter would be heartbroke if she doesn't get to see CinderellaI. I heard that you can always see Cinderella in Toontown. Is this true? I would also appreciate any advice on the character meals. Is breakfast a better time to do this?
Thanks-

Crystal Palace is by far our favorite breakfast at WDW. :) The food is always excellent & the characters are great! Crystal Palace would definitely be my 1st recommendation for a tasty breakfast & some characters.

We saw Cinderella in Toon Town 2 times on our last trip. They always have different characters to visit in the Tent, but Cinderella was there each time we went last March. I believe there is also a dinner with Cinderella & friends at the Grand Floridian, but I've never been there. HTH! :)

We saw Cinderella in MGM several times. There is a princess breakfast in Epcot (not cindy, though) I am not sure if it is a buffet or pre-plated. We love Chef Mickeys! No princesses, but a lot of fun

I wouldn't worry too much about your daughter not finding anything to eat there... there have been countless stories on here about children that wouldn't eat what was served and a CM always arranges to find something they do like. Plus most kids I've seen at the meals don't eat much anyways... food is the last thing on their mind when characters are walking about! You really pay for the experience, not the food.

That being said, there are two princess breakfasts, only one with Cinderella... which is VERY hard to get PS for. Sells out in minutes, but always worth a shot! And there is just something about eating in the castle!

You can also see Cinderella at the dinner at 1900 Park Faire. I have not eaten dinner there, but have eaten the breakfast there adn loved it...

We saw Cinderella in ToonTown too. My hubby got his picture made with her, it's hanging in our hallway LOL =) So you probably will get to see her even if you dont eat one of her meals.

=)

My 3 year old daughter and I had dinner at 1900 Park Fare and it was great. Cinderella was fabulous and so was the prince. If she is a Cinderella fan, I would do the dinner instead of a breakfast. I had no problem getting a priority seating for the dinner.
