We want to do a character breakfast that's in a park and offers american food. Suggestions? My trio of boys will be 4 by then.

Thank you!

we loved the tusker house in animal kingdom. there was a good selection of food.. mickey, goofy, donald and daisy were the characters there

Tusker House at AK has some unusal food but also alot of regular American breakfast food too. Crystal Palace in MK has a traditional American breakfast.

Given that they will be 4 I'm thinking they may enjoy Tusker House more due to choice of characters. They have Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy. Where as Crystal Palace has Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet.

Tusker House gets our vote too. Nice to get an 8:00 ADR and be finishing up just as the park opens.

crystal palace for young ones

tusker son loved. He is a huge Donald fan. donald, daisy, mickey, goofy

akershus DD4 liked, DS4 got kissed by each princess which he loved, great food. DH loved the food and coffee.

but overall favorite without a doubt-
best for everyone Ohana with Stitch, Lilo, Pluto and Mickey was by far the best. Best food, the special pineapple and hot cinnamon rolls were delicious, best entertainment. My twins were walking hand in hand with Mickey around the restaurant like a commercial. They had shakers to dance with. Stitch played with the kids. Lilo gave great hugs to them. Pluto surprised my son and his reaction was priceless. Someone here told us to do this the last day and we did. perfect.

We love Ohana for breastfast too! But another one we like is Hollywood and Vine at Studios - if your boys like Little Einsteins or Agent Oso. My duaghter LOVES Little Einsteins so this is a must-do for us. I also just read that Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates are supposed to be at Hollywood and Vine soon, too...

I was impressed by the food at Tusker House. I was there on Friday with my 5 yr old and she enjoyed it. Lots of different choices:eggs, quiche, mickey waffles, baked goods, fruit, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, ham, bacon, potatoes etc.

The younger kids also get to "dance" with Mickey by following him in a conga line shaking maracas.

And we didn't feel rushed at all. I think meeting Mickey at the breakfast was my 5 yr old's favorite thing at Disney.

Our family actually really enjoyed our Chef Mickey's breakfast. It seems like a lot of people don't have a lot of nice things to say about Chef Mickey's, but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was fresh, hot, and plentiful during our seating. The character interaction we experienced was good and not rushed. My kids enjoyed seeing Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto in their cute chef/cook outfits and the napkin waving dance was fun and festive. My kids thought it was a treat to visit the Contemporary resort and see the monorail going through the building. For a first Disney trip, I think Chef Mickey's is a classic and it was a "must do" for us. We also enjoyed our Crystal Palace breakfast and the food was wonderful there and the characters (Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet) were so cute! For our next Disney World trip, the Tusker House character breakfast is definitely a "must do" for us. I've heard so many great things about the food there!

Definitely Tusker House at AK. Not as crowded as Crystal Palace, and the characters spend extra time with the tables.

Tusker House it is!! My kids dont even know who the Pooh characters are, except for Eeyore, because I love Eeyore. And Goofy is a must see for them. I am sure Mickey will be too, because we are tellling them we are going to "Mickeys house" after their birthday next year so they are all excited about going to "Mickeys house."

Thanks guys!

You'll love Tusker House. Two words: Guava Juice :lovestruc

I'm hoping to be hungrier when we hopefully eat there again in June.

Even though you've decided already I have to say I love Ohana best followed by Cape May, then Tusker house, then Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, Akershus. It does depend on which characters you want to see - and also depends on food. Though for the most part breakfasts are pretty much the same with only one or two specialties per restaurant.

Never been to the Tusker House. Must try it out next visit.

Our favorite by far is Ohana's for the food. We always do Chef Mickey's for the Fab 5.
