I'd like a new camera for Christmas, can anyone recommend a good quality camera between $100-$120? My camera was actually pretty good, I think it was cheap, but I have had it for almost 5 years and the lens cap sometimes gets stuck and it is taking like a minute to turn on.
Anyone care to share info on a good camera?

I just bought the Cannon a480 for 98.00 on amazon, it's for my step son, I looked at the reviews and they were positive. I loved my Cannon. my son dropped it and it couldn't be fixed so I then went to a Nikon, and hated it.

We've had a Sony Cybershot for the past 6 years and it is still awesome. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, and I know I've seen them for under $150.

We bought our dd a Kodak Easyshare(she has lost it now thought) I don't remember the exact one it was but i do know it was about $80. It took really good pictures and was easy to use.

I like my Canon PowerShot A710 IS. I have no idea the price of one now, I bought it a few years ago. I wanted one with a larger optical zoom. Most have 4X. The one I bought has 6X. I also like that it takes 2AA batteries. I bought a charger and a package of 4 rechargable batteries.
