best buy has site for "fake" prices

this was on the community board but i know some here use best buy..

might be totally unrelated but i had a strange thing happen to me with a rebate for circuit city...they told me it was an invalid date and product after i submitted it. i emailed,,,nothing,,,so i called and the rebate form the woman had sent me online was way expired which was why it was rejected...they fixed it and said i should get the rebate in a week but just thought it was odd they had to send me the rebate form in the first place( rather than me just going somewhere and filling it out) and then the out of date one unless she didn't read it or something...guess you just have to be careful

Bestbuy is not the first place I shop, I always try to find it somewhere else but they do online price matching and it makes it hard not to go there sometimes.
