Hello.
I've stayed here once and don't recall which "tower" it was. Had a great view of pool and palm trees. Can someone suggest their favorite location so I can request it on the reservation?
Regards,
Kate

I'm in the same boat as you Kate. Had a top floor room, that I do remember but can't remember room no. or even building. I've asked all my family members and they can't remember either and we had a most perfect room last year, wish I could get it again.

Hello...we have stayed at RPR in Tower 3 and loved it! It was recommended by the frontdesk staff as most convenient to the water taxis and the pool. Hope this helps! :)

I have a suggestion to the first 2 posters. You can call Loews if you are a Loews First member and they should be able to tell you your room #. I did this once because I couldnt remember a room we stayed in at Portofino and they came through for me! I did have my reservation # and that may have helped. Good Luck! I personally like Tower 1 best, top floor. We really enjoyed walking to the park and it was the closest to the path. We had a great view as well and easy access to the pool! Good Luck:)

I don't have my reservation # from last year either. I keep thinking we were in Tower 1, if Tower 3 is all the way over by the watertaxi, I know it wasn't that one. Tower 2 doesn't ring a bell so I'm pretty sure it was Tower 1..room 6110 keeps popping into my mind and I wonder if there is such a room or I am just making that up..lol. I know that we took a left out of the elevator and then another left and we weren't that far down the hall again on the left. We were conveniently located near the pool and path as well as we always stayed near the zero entry section by the boat. I do remember how cold it was inside the hotel after getting out of the pool :). I should call the resort and ask if there is such a room #, then I would know that was it.

Okay maybe there is still hope in you remembering! I can tell you that your room # is broken down like this.

I was in room #1701

1= The Tower #
7= The Floor we were on
The last 2 digits would be the room you were in.

So maybe you were in Tower 1 on the sixth floor? In that case it would be 16XX

Hope that may have helped.

Jessica, now I'm even more confused! I thought we were on the top floor but I'm sure it was the sixth floor. Well maybe instead of 6110 it was 1610? My family is no help whatsoever, they don't even remember the floor, but I am sure it wasn't the 7th. I think I am going to go ahead and take a chance and call because I would love to have that room again.

Just had to come back and add that I tried calling the Loews but they couldn't help me, then I tried 1-800-UESCAPE, nothing. They suggested I call the hotel directly but then I got a brainstorm. I remember posting here when I returned last summer. I did a search on my name and sure enough I found my review and better still I posted my room no.-- yep it was 1610. Well, now i will call and request that room, and to anyone who needs a suggestion I thought this room was perfect. We had a beautiful view, near the elevator, and close to the pool and walkway (it wasn't near the water taxi but we like to walk and I don't know about the Laundry room because I did no laundry while there) ;) .

Does anyone have any suggestions for a garden view room?
Tower 1 sounds good because close to everything, but I could be wrong - need suggestions. Can we request a certain room number?

Debbie: How close to the elevator were you? We will be going to RPR in July and I am looking for info on rooms as well. Your room number sounds great, but I don't want to be able to hear the elevators, or the people standing to catch the elevator. Did you have any noise problems being close to the elevator?

Sherries: If memory serves we were not real close to the elevator. I mean I hope I am remembering this right but we were close enough to be convenient but not too close where we heard any noise from people waiting or anything like that. From the elevator it was down the hall a bit and on the left but I don't remember feeling like it was really far from the elevator and I think I would have remembered that. I remember being so happy with the view in that room, I can even send you a pic of our view if you want. The reason this is important to me is because my son and his new wife were along on that trip paying the same price for a waterview room and their view was awful. Cars coming and going out of the resort and as he called it a "puddle".

When are you going in July? We will be there from July 6-11, don't you steal my room now :p

Debbie 655

We'll be there the week of July 20, no worries on the room for you, but I think I will request it for our week. :Pinkbounc I suppose calling the hotel directly will do that??? This is our first visit to Universal so I am a little green on how everything works. Thanks for the info on the room. Hope you have a great week there and let me know if the room is still everything you remember.

Sherries I haven't actually called anyone yet to request this room. I guess I will call the hotel directly.

I'm sure you will like this resort and Universal Studios. We just ordered our 5 day passes so will have those in a few days. I am getting really excited now! I will post when I return.

How far in advance should you request a certain room? Arriving RPH Tuesday. Thanks.
