Where is the best spot (if anywhere) at Disney World for wings? We're staying at POFQ and they're on the menu at Scat Cat, but as wing fans we are wondering if there is somewhere else we should try too? TY

Try ESPN club. Since they are a sports bar, you probably have the best chance there.

If you can leave disney property, Buffalo Wild Wings is located in the crossroads shopping center and has AMAZING wings. They offer a wide variety of sauces, including the incredible hot Blazin' Sauce

It's not wings but my DH salivates all year long waiting for our annual Disney trip where he can get the Buffalo Chicken sandwich at CBR.

I really miss the wings they had at the Fireworks Factory at PI. Those were the best wings on the planet! Large, juicy, crispy, and the sauce was incredible. Unfortunately they are only a memory now.

I would agree that you are probably going to have to leave property to get really good wings. I thought the ones at ESPN were so so, but better than nothing.

If you don't mind leaving the property- Orlando Ale house is great. It's right on the outside of downtown disney. Otherwise i would guess ESPN zone too.

I second if you leave property and go to Orlando Ale House...some of the best wings I have had :) I swear when we lived in Orlando we'd go ever week :)

They aren't buffalo wings but if you like a sweeter wings too, the wings at Konas at the Poly are very good. the food is good there too.

Having lived my first 39 years in Buffalo, I am very specific about my wings. I have had them twice in the two years here in TN. I rarely get them on vacation. Will be interested to hear if ESPN's or any other on property are any good.popcorn::

This is a great question! My dh had wondered the same thing (he is also from Buffalo) and I scoured the menus looking. Coronado has them on their lunch menu at Pepper Market according to this menu http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=492
but I don't know if they are good and I doubt we could work that into our trip easily.
ESPN is a possibility for us http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=189 but I'm not sure if they are good enough to be worth going there for dinner the first night we get there instead of swimming at our resort.
We couldn't tell with the Planet Hollywood menu if they are just chicken tender with Buffalo sauce on them and we've seen and read too many negative pics and reviews of Planter Hollywood to really want to go there.

Dh really like the wings at Planet Hollywood..and yes they are real wings not tenders. They have wings at Raglan but DH was not impressed with the guiness sauce.

BTW.....We have stayed at POFQ many times and the Scat Cat has not had any food for quite awhile.

We stayed there a couple of weeks ago and I don't remember seeing them on the menu...although to be fair we sat outside of the bar but it seemed to be everyone was going to the food court to get whatever food they wanted and the entertainment was encouraging people to do that so I am not sure they serve separate food from the bar.

I like the wings at ESPN (we will often go there after Hollywood Studios or Epcot). Also they have pretty good ones at All Star Sports.

If you go to ESPN be prepared to pay around 12 bucks for the wings! That's ridiculous considering the most expensive dinner entree is $14.50.

I was looking at a Scat Cat menu on www.portorleans.org, so it may be out of date. We will check anyway. We have had the wings at Kona and they were indeed good, but different. For the PPs from upstate NY, we have family in the Utica/New Hartford area and you can't go wrong for awesome wings up there. We've been to Buffalo too and had them there, same thing. CT is much more wing challenged unfortunately. We are eating at Raglan Road, but did not see wings on the allears.com menu. We will keep our eyes peeled and if we find anything will report back. Thanks again.

Now I'm trying to think if I have had wings in disney:laughing:

I belive I've had them at the Outer Rim bar in the CR but they must not have been amazing if they're not sticking out in my mind! I belive I have also had them at the Turf Bar at SSR, once again I think they were about average.
