best budget hotels near sea world

What are the best budget hotels around Sea World? Ive never been to San Diego so I don't even know where to start looking. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Sorry if this is asked a lot, I looked a few pages back and didn't notice anything, so i hope its not.

There is a Fairfield/Spring Hill Suites location on I-drive across from SW. They share a pool area. We stayed here for a short trip. It is a good value and is only a 3 year old property.

I stayed at the Fairfield at Sea World on I Drive last year. Very nice, basic hotel, with free parking, free breakfast bar, and free quick ques for unlimited entries. It was a five minute drive around the corner to Sea World and Discovery Cove. This is for the Orlando Sea World.

I only drove up to Sea World in CA from my hotel in Mission Bay.

You might want to look at the vacation packages on the Sea World website. One day admission to Sea World for my Family was going to be $270. We booked the Renaissance for one night PLUS our tickets for $300!
