We'll be driving through the night and I want to start our trip off perfectly. Where's the best, most magical breakfast experience in the magic kingdom and resorts? Wanna start out trip out with a wonderful meal!

My favorite is the breakfast buffet at Boma, but I'm sure you'll get plenty of opinions.

Well-since they closed Tony's for breakfast there isn't really much at the MK. You could do the Character breakfast in the Castle, but that's a long meal, a lot of $$ and ordinary food.

We NEVER do buffets so I can't help there. But for TS breakfast we like Kona, Wave, Grand Floridian Café, and Olivias!!

I looked at BOG breakfast and for me it seems underwhelming. Like it just doesn't have allot of options :( Money isn't a huge issue as we splurged for this trip and went with the deluxe dinning plan. We wanted the all inclusive feel and plan to eat a good bit of table service meals throughout our trip. (with our 3 year old I'm sure they'll be a welcomed break) I'm gonna go stalk Boma,Kona and the Wave right now. It totally doesn't have to be a buffet :)

Crystal Palace has a good breakfast, it's buffet style. I am sure your three year old would appreciate the Pooh characters!

For me personally, I have to put in a vote for 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. You get the Pooh characters for the little ones, and some insanity from the Mad Hatter and Alice for the bigger ones, as well as some practically perfect lessons from Mary Poppins herself for the princesses. As far as food goes, its some of the best I've ever tasted with a decent spread for picky kids (and picky adults like me) and for adventurous eaters too. It's also often overlooked, so even on the busiest days, it's usually not too terribly crowded and you get to spend some decent time with the characters too.

We've gone with our N&N and it was really nice. I forget what she said to him, but the hatters face is perfect.

Crystal Palace is wonderful for the pooh characters and a decent breakfast buffet. We always find plenty to eat that makes us happy. 1900 Park Fare is my favorite character breakfast. The character interactions are wonderful and the breakfast is delish.

I would suggest do some of your own research first and then ask. As you can see there are many differing opinions. Nothing is going to be perfect.

'Ohana has the best character interactions we have ever experienced and it is all you care to eat family style so you don't have to stand on a buffet line which I always appreciated when my kids were younger. The food is typical-Mickey and Stitch waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, potato wedges, fruit-all very good but the best items are the pineapple coconut bread and POG juice-passion fruit, orange, guava.

They have all the kids march in a parade in a conga line behind Mickey, Stitch, Lilo and Pluto-very cute for the little ones. I miss the days when my kids participated-sigh.

I think I'll do Kona the first morning, Crystal Palace one Magic Kingdom Morning, and then 1900 Park Fare another ;) sounds like those 3 mornings are set ;)

Anyone have any experience with Hollywood and Vine for Breakfast?

I think that Chef Mickey's would be a great way to begin vacation...monorail whizzing by, characters, buffet breakfast, gorgeous setting, fun atmosphere...I always feel like I'm home (Disney home) at the Contemporary. I have seen many complaints about the food, but we have always enjoyed it. If you are feeling up to it after your long drive, it would be super easy to walk over after breakfast and start your day at the Magic Kingdom.
