Best breakfast that is not character dining?

We love the Boma breakfast buffet - for a regular sit down we really enjoyed Kouzzina. For a big breakfast we usually go to WCC for the skillet

Great! I made reservations for Kona, Boma and Kouzzina.

Thank you for the recs!

Have you had them since they changed the recipe? I was SOOO dissapointed when we were downin October :sad2:

Really? Can you explain? I don't want to waste a dining experience... there are too many good restaurants to choose from ;)

There was nothing really "wrong" with the pancakes, they just are not what they used to be ... and I  loved  the way they used to be. They are making them "healthier" now with no real sweetness to them.

Kona is the home of the Tonga Toast if you like bananas :thumbsup2

That sounds good too. I ♥ tropical fruits and macadamia nuts. We've only eaten breakfast at O'Hana and dinner at Spirit of Aloha.. I've heard the coffee is good too.

We usually have a light breakfast at our DVC kitchen,
but do treat ourself to a breakfast at Boma
and a breakfast at Kona for the delicious Kona Coffee and Tonga Toast !

another vote here for the Tonga Toast at Kona! We'll be thee in a couple of days and I cannot wait! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I like Boma. They have "normal" food and "african" food. Everything we ate was good. Plus, they have made to order omelets!!

Kona or Grand Floridian Cafe for non-buffet. Boma for buffet.

I typically skip breakfast, but Boma is a definite exception. It's also the only buffet on property my family actively enjoys. There is a wonderful mixture of recognizable offerings with more exotic fares, and the juice blend drink is delicious.

Another vote for Boma! We love it and often eat there 2 times on Animal kingdom days!

Didn't read the thread after the OP to see if you listed where you're staying. By our hands down fav. for bfast non char is Kona at the Poly!!!! GREAT food and service.

A close 2nd is the bakery in MK though. :goodvibes No eggs/bacon but yummmmmmmmy!

Wow I never noticed that the recipe was changed. We were there last Friday AM. They were still as delish as ever. :)
