We are not big breakfast folk as we like to get to the parks early but this time round hoping to have a more relaxed trip and may try a breakfast or two.

Any recoomendations for bext breakfast either at resort or park? (we already have Ohana pencilled in).

We've always enjoyed Boma. It was a first-morning tradition for several trips, but we haven't been there for a few years now. Are there any resorts you haven't visited? I'd use it as an excuse to have a nose around. Many rave about the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Well, it's back at the Poly where you are already going to Ohana, but we always do a Kona cafe breakfast to share a Tonga toast (banana stuffed French toast) and a pot of French press coffee - one of the few places for decent coffee at WDW.

Hi,
We love Boma for breakfast, and then a wander around outside to look at the animals before heading to AK:thumbsup2
We also enjoyed the Crystal Palace last year, and are planning to go back this year. It was great to have an early booking and get into MK before the crowds:goodvibes
We went to Cape May a few years ago for a late breakfast, and though it was ok, they seemed to be running down the buffet, so the choice was limited. We did enjoy the walk to the back entrance to Epcot though; and our dd's(then aged about 8) were delighted to see Sleeping Beauty sitting on the grass all by herself! They enjoyed a private chat and photo shoot which they still remember now, aged 15!

I agree with Kona - or perhaps just go to GF (ot one of the other hotels) to their CS - you can get what's on offer and sit outside near the water then have a look round. We went the other year and enjoyed muffins and coffee before going on to the MK :)

Wh have always enjoyed the character breakfast at Crystal Palace - but not sure that's what you're looking for.

I personally didnt like Boma. We have eaten at Crystal Place which we like and also Chef Mickeys. This time we are eating at 1900 Park Fare and also Tusker House.

Have fun planning:thumbsup2

One that doesn't get much mention but we love it for breakfast and lunch - Grand Floridian Cafe. It's cool, quiet, calm and out of the way!

Only had breakfast at Chef Mickeys and Crystal palace, I preferred Chef Mickeys of these 2. but I wasn't hungry at CP so hardly ate anything, I struggle to eat until PM.

we went to crystal palace in august and had a lovely breakfast, i would definitely recommend it. There's quite a lot of choice with the food and its a great way to get some pics in front of the castle while main street is empty :thumbsup2

Kona Cafe is lovely :)

I have to agree with Pootle though - one French Toast is enough to share ;)

I also like Crystal Palace but our favourite character breakfast is at 'Ohana and Cape May Cafe.

I've never done Boma for breakfast due to events that conspired against me, but I would really like to.

thanks for the suggestion, we have tried CP (I had a birthday breakfast there) which was good, might consider again, had also heard good things of Tonga toast....so much to eat but so little time :confused3

We enjoy Crystal Palace, usually book 8.05 for our first morning. Tried Chef Mickeys last year but not as good. It seemed much more hectic & there did'nt have as much choice.

Kona is lovely! I don't like the tonga toast, but the macadamia nut pancakes are absolutely divine!!! Also, WolfGang Puck Express at DTD have a nice breakfast menu - especially a really nice breakfast pizza!!!

We have done a few caracter meal breakfasts, CP was good however I don't find breakfasts good value for money and would rather do dinner.:confused3 However I may try Boma for breakfast in September for the day we fly home.
