What does everyone think is the best breakfast thats not a buffet in WDW. Doesnt matter if its in a resort, theme park.... Also if you could give a little review of it. Thanks!

First let me start that I am not a breakfast fan. I prefer just something simple than a big breakfast.

But, when we do want something more, we have 2 places we like.

The first is Kona Cafe. I love Tonga Toast. DH gets a more traditional egg or pancake breakfast. ANd the Kona French Press coffee.

The other choice we like is a food court breakfast. We like to go to POFQ and share an order of beignets and the King Creole breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and a biscuit).

Other than that, we usually just breakfast in the room.

We usually eat breakfast in our room/timeshare, but if we want a real treat, it is Kona for us!! Love the Pineapple Macadamia pancakes!!!:thumbsup2

One of our favorite places to breakfast is Boatwright's at POFQ. DW enjoys the breakfast smoothies there, and I must have the banana-stuffed french toast at least once per trip. It's unbelieveable.

We usually eat breakfast at the resort's counter service place, but tried Kona during our trip in July. It was, by far, the best breakfast I've ever had. I ordered the Tonga Toast with bacon, and everything was done just right. We were seated promptly (I made ADR's) and our waitress was kind, fast, and patient. The Kona Coffee was spectacular, along with everything else. Kona is now my favorite restaurant in WDW! :)

Another vote for Kona!! I love the tonga toast and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pineapple macadamia pancakes.

O'Hana with Lilo & Stitch!!:thumbsup2

Love that POG juice!
Your group's picture will be taken upon check-in at the podium.
During your meal, your picture package will be brought to your table & you have the option of purchasing for about $32.00.
The meal is served family-style.
The Mickey waffles are a big hit!

We're having breakfast there on Christmas Day.
Can't wait!

Yacht Club Galley at the Yacht Club has a great selection for breakfast in addition to a buffet (DD17 is a buffet girl!).:cheer2:

The Kona Cafe at the Poly! I love the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes!

You didn't say if you would have a car or not. I get a rental and when I want a TS breakfast I usually go off property.

There is a Perkins at the Crossroads Shopping Center at the end of Hotel Plaza Drive and a Bob Evans near one of the other entrances to WDW property. It's a nice break and much less expensive.

On property I would have to agree with Kona.

Olivia's, at Old Key West, has wonderful poached eggs with sweet potato & ham hash. I'm not too fond of Olivia's these days (dumbed down lunch and dinner menu that lacks the theming it used to have) but the breakfast is excellent.

That's POR - and it is our favorite as well. :thumbsup2

We also nearly always eat in the room (DVC).

Or we schedule the latest buffet breakfast time so it's really like brunch.

But last Fall we decided to do Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL for breakfast, and it was rip-roaring fun! We'd never eaten there before, but had actually watched the antics from the lobby. It was a blast to be part of the show. The food was fine -- nothing special -- but we weren't there for the food!

We love Boatwright's and the Kona Cafe.
At Boatwright's, I love the Sweet Potato Pancakes and a slice of ham. At the Kona Cafe, nothing beats the Macadamia Nut Pancakes, a slice of ham, and a presspot of Kona coffee.
