Best breakfast in "The World"

The Safari Breakfast from AKL. I've been to Chrystal Palace, Kona Cafe, Boatwright's and Boma. Some others that I wouldn't mark down in this group. The Safari Breakfast is the best by far but it is expensive because it includes a semi-private safari tour at AK. It was only available to concierge level guests at AKL I thought that had eliminated that restriction.

If you exclude that breakfast I would say Kona.

I know it is closing and a lot of people give bad reviews but we absolutely love concourse steakhouse. The stickey Mickey is fantastic and the steak and eggs is great! We mostly love it because it isn't too busy. It's a nice relaxing start to the day. We have been going here the first morning of every trip. We'll be going one last time this December and then we'll have to find a new spot!

Non character - Kona Cafe - awesome Tonga Toast!
Character - Ohana's w/Stitch & Lilo

W hoping to "slow down" ...take in some more casual breakfasts. Any suggestions for great breakfast foods?

IMO that eliminates ALL character b'fasts, they're anything but casual (quiet).

Yacht Club Galley - Buffet or order off the menu. I loved the Crab Cake Benedict - fried crab cakes on grilled tomatoes, topped with two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, served with breakfast potatoes.

Trails End at Ft. Wilderness - Takes a bit of time to get to. Boat from CR or drive and a bus, but, we find it a very relaxing morning, especially after a late night out.

Concourse Steakhouse - Not necessarily quiet, but it doesn't seem noisy to me, considering its location. This will be closing in the spring.

We LOVED Crystal palace. Going in when the park was empty and had some great photo opportunities. The food was very good and you are in the park already when it opens. ( If you go for the 8am seating.)
We also really enjoyed Boma for breakfast.

We love the buffet at Trail's End and the beignets at POFQ. I can't think of any CS restaurants in the parks that serve a real breakfast, just pastries and such. Can anyone else think of any?

We went to Chef Mickey's on our last visit and really enjoyed it. I'm trying to decide whether to go back there or to try CP on our Feb trip.:confused3

I know that Roaring Forks at WL is a counter service where you can get a scrambled eggs, meat and biscuit platter.

I really like 'Ohana's breakfast. It is definitely my favorite. If you don't want the characters, I bet Kona is pretty much the same. I happen to love the sausages there.

We REALLY liked the Playhouse Disney breakfast but now that the kids aren't really into those characters I'm bummed we won't be back. I guess we could go just for the food!

We always go to the character breakfast at Ohana's at the Poly. Lots of fun and love the bread!

I have to disagree...the character breakfast at Cape May is VERY casual and was pretty quiet, too. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

We love the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom. If you get your seating early enough, you can be finished eating (a great breakfast w/ a huge selection) and standing in front of the castle in a nearly empty park!! It's a wonderful photo op!:wizard:

How "early" is early? We have a ressie for 8:25 - our first time eating at Crystal Palace and it will be our first full day at WDW. Can't wait. Would we be able to take a quick pic of the castle before going into the restaurant? Thanks!

O'Hana in the Polynesian.
Breakfast with Lilo & Stitch - fantastic!
The POG juice & Mickey waffles are YUM!:drinking1
I'm definitely taking DH to this on our next trip. He loves Stitch! and I've heard great things about their coffee too. :)

Our favorite breakfasts are at Boma and Trail's End

I so agree with Trail's End - I love their breakfast pizza! Yummy!!

Character berakfasts = excited kids = noise! There's no getting around it. It may be bearable but it's noisy compared to other b'fast options.

I enjoy one once in a while but we don't do them every trip anymore, our little one is 27 yo.

BTW, 'Ohanas is probably the noisest on property. We've stayed at the Poly about 18 times and the character b'fast there is a zoo, you can barely walk down the hallway.

Do any of the other Trail's End fans miss the cinnamon french toast they used to have? I know I do!

When I was growing up we used to go to the CR and eat at The Top of the World (where Cal Grill is now). They had a huge buffet with these wonderful strawberry crepes. Anybody else remember that?

Sorry for the restaurant nostalgia.
