Best Breakfast Buffet?

I love my breakfast, so wondering where the best Breakfast buffet is in WDW? We are staying at AKL but willing to travel for a good breakfast

DisneyHenry, funny you should ask! I had the same question. Here is the thread I started: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2662431 So far, most have said Boma and Tusker House. We did the buffet at Captains Grille at the Yacht Club. You can find a few pics in my Yacht Club trip report in my signature below.

I think Boma has the best breakfast buffet on property by a long shot. The last time I stayed at AKL we had breakfast at Boma every morning. Tusker House is very good also. I also enjoy the buffets at Cape May and 1900 Park Fare. For the record, I also enjoy breakfast at 'Ohana (since it was recommended by a pp) but it's family style, not a buffet.

Breakfast is breakfast. They all have eggs, they all have bacon, they all have sausage, they all have potatoes, I'm pretty sure they all have waffles... Food wise they are all basically the same. No one is really that much better or worse than another. They each have little things about them to make them slightly different, but in the end there really isn't a big enough difference, IMO.

It really comes down to if you want characters or don't want characters and if you do want characters who do you want to see?

We love Ohana for the caracter interaction and crystal Palace at 8am to be at the park before it opens and get nice castle pictures.

Crystal Palace is a must for us on every trip for breakfast. It's a great buffet, great food (always fresh), awesome character interaction, beautiful scenery and... best of all... you can get in before the park opens and grab some shots of MS and the castle without anyone in the way!

The best breakfast buffet in Disney is BOMA (we ate there 3x when we stayed in AKL). They have the best selection of food, yummy juice and great coffee. You can get eggs made to order or omelete. We woke up and went as a walk in 2x.

Characters or no characters?

Characters - Crystal Palace

No Characters - Boma

Crystal Palace is by far the most fun and beautiful atmoshpere, try to get your ADR for 8:00 or as close to and you'll get into MK before it's open and then you can get pics infront of the castle without all the crowds. Walking down Main St. is soooo special with almost no one there. It's a must every trip for us.

Boma's is by far one of the highest recommended buffets for breakfast or dinner. You can't go wrong with either. In fact! Do both!!

Oh yes, there is a difference in breakfasts at WDW. In our opinion you're staying right next to the best breakfast on the property...Boma. We missed our January ressie for Boma Breakfast when our early morning appointment for the Richard Petty experience was delayed due to overnight rain on the track. We were so disappointed. The breakfast at Boma is a great combination of traditional and "interesting foods" like potatoes with "Afritude". We haven't been to breakfast at Tusker House but suspect that it might be similar, only with characters (which we don't care about since we usually are just two adults).

Tusker House is a highlight because of the characters. WE also like Ohana and Cape May.
