What a good thread. Each person has their own idea of what was a good deal for them.

The things I bought were good deals for me because they were things I needed to find.

I found the pair of tennis shoes my 76 year old father asked for. He was very specific on the kind and style he wanted. After looking for a few days I found them. Plus saved $20 on them and 15% more. I bought some towels, lotions from BBW and 2 pull overs at American Eagle for $20 a pc.

So everything I bought I felt was a good deal.

We got the 32" Westinghouse TV at Target which I thought was a great deal. I do have ask those that have it, are you guys having problems seeing the pixels when you are close to the tv. Is there any way to make it clearer?

We also got the PS3 bundle from Best Buy for $299 that came with two games that we actually wanted so we thought that was a great deal too.

After my $20 in Kohls Cash, $20 in rebates, and $30 GC I got for my bday, my out of pocket is $39 total for all of it

The laptop I bought online at Best Buy for $499. While I know some got cheaper laptops, the cheap ones had 2-3 GB of RAM, which is barely enough to run Windows 7 today, and won't be able to handle more than 1-2 years of updates before they max out. The one I got was 4GB of RAM, and included a case and a printer. I saw the exact same computer (a Toshiba) advertised other places for $729 and $689 (and of course, no printer or case!), so I'm pretty happy with my deal. And, the best part was shopping in my pjs with no lines and no hassle.

Didn't do too great on BF. I waited in line with my DD for the $199 laptop at BB...however, they were already out of tickets for the laptop by the time they got to us.

I guess my biggest treasures were the $7 bubble jacket for me at WM as well as the $9 Cabbage Patch doll, also at WM.

But now y'all are telling me I could have gotten a refurb Iphone for $49.99? Where was this at? (Keep in mind, I was pretty much without the computer last week while staying at my DD. The $199 laptop was supposed to be my DD's computer).

Three seasons of House on dvd for 12.99 each, normally they're at least 40 each. I also got 9 tee shirts, 2 fleeces, 3 pairs of fleecy socks, and 2 pairs of pants all for 99 bucks including tax, that was from Old Navy. I got a 4gb MP3/video player for 45, and a game that just came out last month for 30 bucks off the Walmart price. I got a few random movies for 2-5 dollars each. I did pretty well, if I may say so

best buy compaq netbook for 179 and insigna blue ray for 1080p for 99 both on thursday morning while in my jammies sitting on my couch!!!

42" plasma for ~$480 at Walmart. LG front loader washer and dryer for $350 each at BB just prior to BF! Leather executive desk chair for $35 at Walmart.
Thanks for a great DH who gets up at 4am to buy these. I never step into a store from Thanksgiving to Xmas

We got a lap top for DD15 and a netbook for DD10 and DD7 to share, both on good deals, but my happiest find was a Keurig for DH. I think they are WAY overpriced (then again I hate coffee) but DH has wanted one since before they were available for purchase. Our orthodontist has had one for years (industrial) and DH always said how he'd love one.

I got a lot of good deals, but my best was probably the blue ray disc player from WalMart: Magnavox for $78. Had the $148 Sony one and called dh. He said, I don't think we need the $148 one, so out of the cart it went! There was a whole pallet of $78 ones at around 6:30am...

I don't get up early to do BF shopping, but rather sit home and scan various sites . I did venture out later in the morning to go to Costco.

download of the day for 3.99 minus the 3.00 mp3 credit that was floating around).
