AK Would be fun to visit (since we are already doing poly once), but that tonga toast looks great! can you eat at ohana and then get tonga toast takeout from kona? do they do takeout??

You can get tonga toast to go from Capt. Cook's at the Poly. That's what we're going to do. Then I'm guessing we'll do the breakfast buffet at Boma.

BOMA's breakfast is outstanding, and the resort is gorgeous. You will not be disappointed!

Tusker House in AK for breakfast is with Donald and friends and Boma's are both very good

Ohana & Boma are two favorites of ours for breakfast that we do on each trip. Ohana is a fun breakfast: Pluto & Stitch are very entertaining & the characters will lead a parade for the kids around the restaurant with maracas. The food at Ohana is good (eggs, bacon, sausage, mickey waffles, biscuits, fruit, breakfast breads) & is served family style. If you are interested in Tonga Toast, there have been reports from other DISers that you can order it at Ohana for a $5 surcharge (not all you can eat). The Boma breakfast buffet is very good - you will not be disappointed. Kona is good, but is not a "must do" for us.

Did Boma and Kona in October. Hands down - go to Boma. The buffet was awesome. All the normal breakfast buffet options - but the best stuff was the African inspired items. I had an EARLY ADR (at opening) and it was nice to see the lobby of AKL empty - and you can access part of the viewing area for the savanna. Tonga toast is good - I do love stuff like that - it's just Boma was even better. I also got BETTER service at Boma, even though it's a buffet! Can't comment about Ohana.

We looooove Kona! Each there each trip on the morning we leave for home.

We've only had dinner at Boma, but it was excellent.

Can't comment on Ohana as we've never been there.
