Best birthday breakfast at Minnie's

We just got back from our latest trip to DL over Thanksgiving (11/27-11/30 in the parks) and had the best time! We made sure to get there at rope drop each day, used FP, and found the crowds to be pretty manageable. On our last day, I was able to celebrate my bday at DL for the first time…and had Minnie's character breakfast at Plaza Inn. Park opened at 8, we had an 8:10 reason. I have never seen so many characters at one breakfast and had such better character interaction...we saw 12, yes 12 characters! My kids (DD 5, DS 8) had a ball! There was Minnie of course, Chip & Dale, Captain Hook (hysterical!), Peter Pan, Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger, Fairy Godmother and Perla ( cute mouse from Cinderella), Rafiki, and Max. We enjoyed the food too and couldn't have asked for a better way to spend our last day...and my birthday!

That's good to hear because I heard a review that was not so good last week. We're planning on going to Minnie's in February so fingers crossed we are that lucky!

I LOVE Minnie's! We will be there next week; my DS10 and DS11 both prefer it to Goofy's Kitchen. It will be my 15 month old daughter's first trip. Glad it went well for you!

We much prefer Minnie's to Goofy's! More characters, better interaction, and in the parks. This will be our first trip in years without a visit to Minnie's.

We have done...Goofy's Storytellers,Arial's and Minnie's. Arial's is great for Princesses but Minnie's is THE BEST for characters and food is always really good. Some of the BEST 2 hours we spend when we do it!

Minnie's is awesome for number of characters and interactions. The food leaves quite a bit to be desired, but I'm willing to overlook that for the character part.

I am happy to see so many people with SONS that are fans of Minnie & Friends! I was telling DH that although I had always wanted to do a character meal, maybe DS9, DS10 & DS13 are too old & too cool to make it worth while. To my surprise, HE was wanting to do one anyway Minnie & Friends would be my pick for many reasons....location & price being top of the list. So glad to see it's not just for girls!

Question: If you make a reservation for early (7 or 8 a.m.?), how long does breakfast take, and do you just go straight in to the park to play afterward? TIA!
