We are all looking forward to getting new beach towels this trip. Where do YOU think the best to be had are? In Disney? Wally world? Flea market? Ron Jon?

I want to find the most colorful, most thick and largest in width as well as length.

Thanks for any insight...28 days and counting...

Some of the best beach towels I ever bought, I got at KMart. Those things have lasted forever. I wish I could tell you the brand, but I'm at work and can't go look at them)

However, my new favorites are the large ones sold by Lands End. Those things are huge and very absorbent. Buy them when they are having a sale because they aren't cheap (though they are fully worth the price). A 30% off everything sale just wrapped up, but I'm sure something else will be coming soon. Make sure to get on their email list.

Costco always seems to have some really great ones. And at a great price. We have a set from long enough ago that I can't remember how old they are... so obviously they hold up well over time.

I bought ours on clearance from Kohl's.com several years ago and they are still in perfect shape.

We bought the XL ones from Target a few years ago that have stripes in different bright colors and are amazing! We abuse them a lot, we go to the beach and pool several times a week during the spring (once it's warm enough in Miami) and summer. They wash well and are very absorbent.

Spring stuff will be coming out soon in Target so watch for them.

My DD is on swim team so we go through a LOT of beach towels. The ones that I got from Kohl's on clearance 3 years ago are still in great condition!

I, too, love the Lands' End beach towels. The company I work for gives us certificates to put toward LE logo merchandise every Christmas, so I stock up then.

I love the Costco towels! They even have some really nice embroidered Disney towels. They are great for home and the pool.

When we travel by plane or going to the water parks, we leave our thick, high end towels home. We bring the ones from the Disney Store Outlet (on sale of course). When we go to the water parks or need to fly, we want a thinner towel that is more compact to take along in our tote bag. The thinner towel dry faster, too. I miss the better towels, but the Disney Store towels serve the purpose.

Pendleton .com has the thickest, most colorful, luxurious spa towels I have ever found. Spendy but last for years and years.

I bought towels from Costco when we moved to the US in 1997 and they are still in excellent condition and they have had tons of use! so they will last a long time, but they are really big and fluffy. they would take up a lot of room.
