So who does battered fish better..... Raglan Road or Yorkshire? I would like options based on the taste of fish only not on price or atmosphere.

I can't comment about Ragian, but I will say the fish at Yorkshire County Fish Shop would get my vote over the Rose & Crown Dining Room, I was unimpressed by the single piece of heavily battered fish at Rose & Crown.

It was delicious, wasn't it?

I might lean toward Yorkshire, based on the thickness of the pieces of fish. The batter is thick, usually with a nice crispness, but because of the thickness of the coating, I find it to be heavy, slightly greasy. I treat it as an appetizer, DH and I usually split an order so neither of us eat a whole order. If you have seen any photos of it, it is that thick golden batter. Raglan Road's isn't quite the same coating, they cook it lighter, comes out more blonde in color. Honestly, I think most fried fish tastes like the batter it is covered in, plus tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, vinegar, or ketchup. If time or money isn't an option, maybe try both, the QS isn't expensive. Also, Cookes of Dublin (behind Raglan Road) is the Raglan Road version of QS (the even take Tables in Wonderland), you can order a fish and chips there too. I like Cookes as well.

Raglan's is pretty good, it's been a while since I've had Yorkshire's version. From what I remember it was acceptable.

Yorkshire, I prefer it over both Raglan Road and what is served in Rose and Crown.

Yorkshire, and it’s fried but I didn’t find it greasy at all. Crispy deliciousness.

Just had Yorkshire's last week and thought it was very good, decent size pieces. A couple years ago we got the fish from Cookes of Dublin and didn't like, plus it was small. I realize you mentioned Raglan Road, but I wonder if they use the same fish since they're together.

We already have Raglan Road as one of our meals but we also have two table service meals for our Epcot day. I have always wanted to try the fish at Yorkshire but with two big meals and all the specialty foods for Flower and Garden I was hoping Raglan Road would be comparable or better. From the sounds of things I just might have to get an order from Yorkshire. I like the idea one of you mentioned about sharing. I might do that with the fish as well as some other Flower and Garden specialty items and treat it as a snack when shared with my group.

I have to agree with the others on Yorkshire Fish and Chips. Just had it last week. It tasted delicious and came out so hot. The chips (French fries) are equally as good as well.

You don't want to fill up on another big meal anyway, too many snacks to try in Epcot for F&G!

I've only had the fish and chips at Yorkshire so far and it was so good I see no reason for me to try it anywhere else since both RR and R+C serve other dishes.

Nice proportion of fish to batter, crisp and hot wasn't the least bit greasy as I noted by taste and looking at the paper when all was done and over. Lovely fries as well. Traditional condiments with both American and Brit ketchup available although I'm really a malt vinegar lover. The day we went we were the 2nd group on line and split 2 orders between the 3 of us, sat in the back overlooking the lake and under umbrellas. Fond memories of an unexpected treat and setting.

I'm not amiss to giving RR's quick service version a try if I'm in the area and have a yen.

Raglan Road's has been atrocious both times we tried it. Yorkshire would be my vote.

Never had Raglan's F&C but have had Yorkshire and the Rose & Crown. Yorkshire was delicious, it was so fresh and hot. If you think it's not enough food you could always go for a second order. If I were the head chef at R&C I'd be a little embarrassed that the take-out window next door was serving a better quality dish than my TS restaurant.
