What restaurants or counter-service places have the best prices or the most food per serving? I am helping a friend who is using lots of her dining plan points for Hoop Dee Doo and Cinderella's Castle and needs to work in some meals that they will be paying for out of pocket.

Any fabulous ideas?? :teeth:

In the past two weeks I've been unable to finish my meal at Kona, Blue Zoo, Chefs De France, and Le Cellier.

When it comes to Counter-Service Restaurants I have a few favs:

Tusker House (AK) - Great Rotisserie Chicken

Toy Story Pizza Planet (MGM) - The pizza is good, but it seems to be about the same at all the Counter-Service Restaurants

Seasons at The Land (Epcot) - Great variety that will make almost everyone happy

Cosmic Ray's (MK) - Another place that has alot of options that will make everyone happy

Also if you start to compare tha prices at Counter-Service Restaurants you'll notice that there about the same everywhere. Usually under 10 bucks a person for a meal. Also when it comes to burgers, fries, and pizza it also seems like you will find the same taste at most of the counter-services.

You can find menus and pricing on the allearsnet website. I can't remember the price per person for the Trails End Buffet at Fort Wilderness but you get my drift- buffet, all you can eat for the low price.

Pecos Bill's in MK. The pulled pork sandwich is big and comes with fries & beans - plus, serve yourself at the fixin's bar. Best fixin's bar at WDW counter service, too - grilled onions & mushrooms and all of the usual stuff.

Also, some people aren't aware that you don't have to order a combo meal if you don't want it. It is possible to order just a sandwich or just fries.

Also, on another note...please inform her that she can share her meals with whomever she is travelling with.
So that way, you double your credits.
We plan on splitting at Alfredo, Sci-Fi (TS). Also ESPN. ESPN was the worst.
You have lots of food...I was almost sick cause i ate too much. I hate wasting food.... lol
Some counter services too... I don't recall which one we did.

That will give us more credits for the castle. We ate too much on our last trip...it was ridiculous! lol

At DTD we love Earl of Sandwich. We also love Boma a unique experience tryng different food. The kids love it too sampling and they always have the kids staples there :thumbsup2 .
