Best and cheapiest website for hotel reservations

Priceline.com and Hotwire.com can be cheaper, but you don't get to pick the actual place. They give you one from a list they have rooms available for. I heard people got Gaylord Palms, a very deluxe resort, for $85.00 a night. You can bid what you want and take a chance using a rating system. check out biddingfortravel.com and betterbidding.com for tips on how to get the best results.

Another vote for Hotel Kingdom here. I have used them 4 or 5 times, always with good results. Good prices and you know just what hotel you're getting unlike priceline or hotwire.

Thanks everyone. I always used hotelkingdom, but I thought that maybe there might have been something better to use. Thanks!

Hotelkingdom is usually the cheapest but you might want to check Expedia too because sometimes they'll surprise you. I've used them in the past and have been pleased with their service too.

We have used both hotelkingdom and hotels.com. I think they both have a matching deal. If the price you find somewhere else is cheaper they will match it and give you something back also. Ihave not used this feature but it is good to know that it is there. On Hotelkingdom it is calld Rate Champion I think.

Bella. I dont understand. are you saying that on Hotels.com there is a feature where if you find a cheaper rate at another site, Hotels.com will give you the same rate as the other site.

We used Hotelmartusa.com for our last trip and found some of the best prices there. We got a 2 bedroom villa for $69/night and that included all taxes.

I had a room booked with Hotel Kingdom, they charged a small deposit ($17) and when our plans changed and we had to cancel, they charged $10, refunding us $7. This was a month out. I've booked and cancelled rooms on other online sites and never been penalized. Yeah, I know read the fine print. No, ten bucks is not going to break me, it was just irritating. Probably won't use them again.

I have used Hotelkingdom in the past and always though they had good prices.

I have been looking for our trip this fall and was surprised to see that there were other sites that were cheaper.

I am looking for the beach- Hotelkingdom has HI for $100. Looked at the hotel site and found it with Ent card for $65. So, I can submit this as a rate champion and get a $10 credit. Even without the card Holiday Inn site was cheaper.

In another case, HoJo had a rate guarantee. It was cheaper on Hotelkingdom. So, I can take advantage of HoJos rate guarantee.

of course, I can't do any of this until I get my #$%^ plane tix so I know what dates we are going!

Also, Tripadvisor has a feature where they will simultaneously check prices on a hotel for you on around 5 different websites. That is nice too.
