I heard this too so my adult daughter and I walked around to several bars about 2/2:30/3 on CC during our last visit asking about 2 for 1 specials or discounted drinks but the bartenders acted like we were nuts..it was weirdKonk Coolers go on sale later in the afternoon on Castaway Cay. .

Well, we don't drink wine or beer. And only have, maybe, 2 or 3 (alcoholic) drinks during a whole cruise. So, packages or not, we find all our cruises enjoyable.I'll bet your next cruise will be more exciting now that you know there's different deals available and not only packages. Lots of good intel on this thread - I'll have to keeps some of these things in mind. We tend to spend most of our down time on our verandah, so we often miss the DoD specials.
We didn't find any on sale, but we did go visit the server/bartender we usually saw in the evenings and visited with, and she was extremely generous in her servings sizesBloody Marys are on special in the morning, and Konk Coolers go on sale later in the afternoon on Castaway Cay. May be others, but those are the two I took advantage of.
