Best Airfare/ Week after Easter?

Suggestions on how to get best airfare the week after Easter starting that Monday. USAir is out but waiting on Air Tran and SWA. Although I know SWA comes out 6 months prior. Looks like AirTran is out 10 months prior. When should we book? Thanks!

By next Easter, SWA and AirTran should be one airline.

Did you check airfares for all airlines? The ones for legacy airlines should be available now.

I've never heard of Legacy. We fly out of Philly.

Legacy isn't an airline. It refers to the long-established airlines that often cater to business travelers - like American, Delta, United, Continental. Most of those airlines book 330 days in advance, and are booking through about April 21 next year. (Easter is April 8, 2012.)

FYI - right now AirTran is booking only through Dec. 4, and as mentioned - may not be flying as "AirTran" by April 2012.

Will the day following Easter Sunday be easy to book with SWA if I do early enough? Right now USair is $89 down Philly to Orlando. Should i grab this one and wait for the SWA fairs to come out on return flight? Thanks!

If you like the flight time(s), I think $89 one-way is a great fare to Orlando - especially during spring break.

Actually we are going to WDW the day after Easter and coming back that Saturday evening. Hoping always to get the lowest fairs.

I would jump at 89.00. I haven't seen SWA offer that price in a long time.
