JUST WANT TO GET AN IDEA ON WHAT ARE PEOPLES FAVRIOTS AND WHY :confused3

We paricularly like Boma, Le Cellier, Californian Grill and Ohana.

I like CP - for the characters and food. CG for the view of MK and the food (though expensive) & Boma at AKL (variety).

wcc becuse the kids love it.
cp was lovely food and cm because mickeys there:goodvibes

we love crystal palace as well :) and chef mickeys ....both for the characters

hi

we have only done crystal palace and it was great.

we have booked the following this year-
crystal palace
chef mickey
1900 park fare
cape may
whispering canyon
ohanas
cinderellas royal table

ive read good things about them and i let the kids help choose them

We love Le Cellier, Teppan Edo (well we loved the old restaurant!), Crystal Palace, Kona Cafe, O'Hanas .....................

another thumbs up for crystal palace, as we got to meet winnie the pooh, piglet eeyore and tigger. we also loved O'hana as dd10 loves lilo and stitch.boma is also fab as it is a little different.

If you have kids then adrs are great as you can plan your day around them and if you go for chracter meals the kids get to meet them for piccies and autoographs.

It can also be a great way to get a nosey around the disney hotels. :thumbsup2

you can however eat quite well at counter service as portion sizes are large and there is a lot of choice. Just depends on what you like to do really. Some folks hate to stick to a plan, but for me planning is part of the whole experience and I like to know we have something special to look forward too.

i have 4 kids and im going to get each of them to ask for one of those each:rotfl:

We had some fantastic meals last year.

LOVED BOMA, CRT, CP, LTT, Maya Grill, Akershus,
LIKED Biergarten, Ohanas, Concourse Steakhouse, WCC, Rainforest Cafe at AK
NOT KEEN ON GF Cafe
HATED 1900 PF

have a fantastic trip wherever you decide to book.

Yet another thumbs up for Crystal Palace - we've had dinner and breakfast there and both were fabulous! LOVE Chef Mickeys too. Also Chefs de France (Epcot), Rainforest Cafe (Downtown Disney), The Rose & Crown (Epcot) and Tony's in Magic Kingdom.

Our must do again list is WCC, 50's Prime -Time, Sci-Fi and Chef Mickey's for Dinner. We loved the food and the atmosphere at these locations, DS was well catered for too. See our thread to get an idea what to expect.

We love;:goodvibes
Crystal Palace - Big Pooh fans (if you pardon the expression)
Chef Mickeys - Lots of characters
Boma - Good Buffet selection
Garden Grill - novelty of setting (revolves through Living with the Land)
Le Cellier - Great steaks and Chocolate 'Moose'
Sci Fi -Kids favorite -good burgers-cheesy film clips-eating in the cars
Rose & Crown - Fantastic view of Illuminations
Prime Time Cafe - Meatloaf our favorite, servers banter

OK but would not bother doing again;:confused3
Cinderella's castle-sorry don't do 'American' Breakfasts, Maple Syrup Urgh!
GF Cafe-(when 1900 Park Fare closed last year), worse steak I've ever had
Liberty Tree Tavern - Felt very 'processed'

I like to plan too, so booking ADRs isn't an issue for us. I like ADRs as they reduce waiting times for tables, gives us all something to look forward to, also enjoy looking around other Hotels. Good break in the heat of the day-air conditioning etc.

We have also enjoyed CP in the past; had my birthday breakfast there last year:cool1:

Our top 5 were Boma (dinner), Coral Reef, California Grill, Akershus (PSB breakfast) and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

:thumbsup2 We love Ohanas for the food and you are sat pretty quickly.

Jikos is amazing and the service at this restaurant is superb

I like eating at crystal palace but DH and DD are getting fed up with eating there now:rotfl:

Nacoosees was lovely (cant spell it) and the view is lovely with the fireworks

We have found over the last few times we have eaten more at the Disney hotel restaurants than in the parks:thumbsup2

With the exception of some at Epcot I would suggest that the hotel resturants are much better than those at the parks.

.....as a earlier thread suggested...so many too choose from.....and so little time:rotfl:
