I was hoping that someone could help with any info on the best 1 bedroom at the beach club villas. location, view , ect.

There really isn't any difference between the 1 Br units at BCV, so "best" is pretty subjective and limited to what is important to you. For my part, we try to avoid smoking units and handicap access units. We often request a unit on an upper floor, but that's just a non-specific preference.

The "best" thing to do is list what would make it a "best" room for you, and make the top three on that list your request. Someone elses best my be your worst! Also, don't go "expecting" to get the exact room you want. If the folks in that one room aren't leaving until halfway through your trip, you will be setting yourself up for major disappointment.

There are quite a few 1 brs at BCV, so you really can not request a specifc villa, but you can request a certain area.
For us, we try to avoid the villas that face Epcot, at any cost. Although they have a view of Illuminations, they are also located practically on top of a very busy road. Illuminations last approx 20 min each evening, we are in our villa and on our balcony a lot more than 20 min a day. To us the constant traffic and view of a road is not worth the Illuminations view. I kid you not, you are so close to the road you can actually read the license plate numbers off the vechicles! Unfortuanatley we have gotten these villas quite a few times, so we just make the best of it, but given a choice we we would never pick this location. We like the villas that have a quiet pool view or a view of the trees in the back of the resort.
BCV has 2 sets of elevators in the building so location from an elevator is pretty even no matter which section you are in.
All the villas are a pretty good walk away from SAB, the restaurants, boat dock etc because the villas are built behind the main hub of the YC/BC resort. The advantage the villas have over the Yc/BC rooms is that you are steps away from the International Gateway at Epcot. When you leave your villa take the side exits and go down the pathway next to Epcot. There is a little gate there and once you come out, you are practically at the entrance. Very nice and very convenient.
If you have never stayed at this resort before, you are in for a treat. It is a lovely resort in a fantastic location. It is our 2nd favorite resort at WDW.
Have a great trip! :Pinkbounc

I agree that view is subjective to what you like. A couple of other things you should think about are ,if you'll have a car and plan to use it a lot, you are better off at the east end of the resort. It makes self parking much easier, if not then the west end is closer to the bus stop and main lobby. I've had about every view and been on every floor except the 1st ( which I don't want to stay on ) and I would say my favorite would be 2nd floor overlooking the quiet pool.
I hope you get your favorite, and have a great trip. It's a great resort.

I would suggest 320 or 220. 420 puts you on a smoking floor, but here's some nice pics from 420.

These rooms have great views (Epcot w/o the road), close to the elevators and you are on a short hallway, so little traffic outside your door. Here's a good link to a map of BCV.

We had the 2BR/2Q #324 and had an awesome Illumi fireworks view.

For us, the best view is a ground floor unit close to the quiet pool. That way, we simply open the patio door, walk over or around the bushes, and go swimming.

LOL, is THAT why those bushes are so scraggly? LOL, JK.

This is good advice, but the OP should keep in mind that even getting into a particular area is a request only. Let them know the area you would like to be in and hope that they can accommodate. Good luck. :)

We just returned from a 5 night stay at BCVs and had what we considered to be the perfect room- 110. We requested a non handicap, non-smoking room close to the elevator (DH had recent knee surgery). We checked in after our morning at MGM and the room assigned was on the first floor at the end of the longest wing. It was not the longest walk but it was long! DH really wanted to try to limit any extra walking if possible (I know- difficult to do that at WDW.) When we got to our room, our keys did not work. We went back to the front desk and we were found out we were told the wrong room number. We were pleasantly surprised to see our room was the closest room to the entrance of the Villas in the left wing, directly across from the restrooms. At first I though we would hear a lot of foot traffic but we heard nothing all week! Our patio looked out onto the quiet pool. We were so close to the Marketplace that we opted to buy the refillable mugs! I would take this room again in a heartbeat!!!

OK, OK, they were scraggly when we got there!! :goodvibes
At least we actually GO to the pool with our children - I've seen people staying in those villas who simply open up the door and let their children out, unsupervised!! :confused3

We have seen this also and it amazes me. How can parents let their children go to a swimming pool, unsupervised and without a life guard???

YIKES! I actually saw the same thing at WL (not the villas), and I couldn't believe folks could just let young kids go out of their sight like that.
