We love the four main parks and obviously start there when we schedule our trip. But what other activities within the world does your family like to do that makes WDW a place that you can easily come back to year after year.

(This is a self-serving post BTW, as I'm looking to steal your ideas!!! :goodvibes )

We love the following:

1. Golf, especially at Bonnet Creek Courses
2. Blizzard Beach (that's a whole day in itself)
3. Water Sprites, those little boats are fun and we've only been thrown off the lake twice.

How bout you?

We enjoy miniature golf, bike and boat rentals and of course DTD.

We are looking to add a water park this year and Disney Quest.

We like the water parks (well DS does!)
I like to visit the different resorts to look at the theming, etc. DS likes to collect pressed pennies so this pleases all of us!
We always make one visit to AKL to tour the outcrop area.
Surrey bike rental. We usually do some boat renting as well.
My favorite.....hanging out by the pool in the warm sunshine!
And no place on Earth beats WDW for people watching!

We like to try different things each time we go, some trips we skip the parks all together.
We like to visit other resorts, mini golf, horseback riding, Typhoon Lagoon, a day at the Grand Floridian Spa, boating on the Seven Seas Lagoon, Afternoon tea at the GF and walking on the Boardwalk.

We also enjoy visiting the other resorts, especially to eat an excellent dinner! We love the wave at Typhoon Lagoon as well. We could spend hours in it and we often do.

Hello MrTerrorChair

I like getting up around 5:00am and walking around the VWL and the lake, it is so quiet at that time. I just grab a coffee and start walking, DW thinks I'm strange but once you try it you'll keep on doing it , very relaxing.

The Boardwalk is also a great place to do this, of course these activities are self serving and you did say "family"

We love DTD it has something for everyone and we never seem to have enough hours down there, my DS is standing next to me and wants me to remind you that Disney Quest is better then our "real" home. :rotfl2: (such a funny boy). He also wants me to add Mickey's Philhar Magic :3dglasses

Quiet walk in the morning around OKW :cool1:

Day at the Spa :goodvibes - I hope not to have to go back the GF spa again - shallow imitation of what used to be at DI.

Sitting on the verandah having an adult beverage, watching the ducks and duffers. :cloud9:

My favorite things include:

1) getting a massage
2) hanging out by the pool
3) the Comedy Club at DTD
4) going out to dinner (Fulton's crab House is my favorite)
5) shopping

oh gee - walking the BW at night, early morning.

doing some of the clubs at BW

swimming - any time, any place!

OKW - morning walks! renting bikes. walking over to DD to shop.

Polyn - renting boats, eating, watching the fireworks and EWP!!!

FW - horseback riding, walking the trails, the petting zoo, eating.

VWL - EWP - walking the trails, the hay ride (okay at fw, too), the new carriage ride, looking for the mouse, their day tours, riding the boats to the Cont and FW, having a friendly drink at the pool bar.

the garden tours at BC/yC - I really miss the one at OKW - but they say not enough members were doing it...

1) If we get in too late on the first day to go into the parks, we just get on the monorails for a ride and maybe tour each of the resorts along the way. Soak in the magic right away.

2) Sassagoula River boat rides between Dixie Landings and Downtown Disney at night. Once I move into SSR I still will do that just for the ride with the honey.

Well, you already named DH's favorite (even before the parks)-golf! To him, WDW is a golf resort-he golfs every day (except if he gets lucky enough to do RPDE). We also love the experience of ordering a Kitchen Sink at B&C and all the hoopla that goes with it. Sure there's only 2 of us, but it's fun! We also enjoy just going to a lounge, like Gurgling Suitcase, ordering a drink, and actually sitting and talking-our lives are so busy, we don't often get to do that.

We like the water sprites, BB, may try TL again this summer to check out that new water coaster, shopping and looking around DD, and no vacation is complete without our mini golf at WinterSummer Land. We also just love to hang at the pool.

DH and DS are going to try out DQ this summer since we get to upgrade our AP's to PAP's for free!

On our Dec trip, we only spent two days in the parks. We did the bike and boat plan at VWL and it was great. We had a picinic lunch out on a pontoon boat we had out for four hours. Used the Water Sprites for hours & hours. We also took bike rides thru FW, got a kick out of the extravogant Christmas decorations those campers set up.

We also had a great time at the FW campfire & movie. Wonderfull evening.... and only cost us the price of a couple hot coco's.

Ever notice the walkway in front of MK that heads towards GF ? Take it someday and look for pavers that are from people in your hometown. There is a nice sitting area at the end of the walkway.

We now always include a trip to Wolfgang Pucks over on the West Side. We like sitting at the sushi bar and watching the sushi chefs make our meal.

There are many more things that we enjoy which others have already mentioned. AP's are great to have, but sometimes we think we're wasting our money.

Eating all over the place.

Typhoon Lagoon.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Buccaneer Gold.

Every so often: Illuminations Cruise, Cirque du Soliel.

Disney races - Family Fun Run 5K, 10k, 1/2 Marathon, Marathon.

Fantasmic.

AMC 24.

I know this is in a park, but I have to mention how much I love Off Kilter outside the Canadian Pavillion at Epcot. I will go see them and skip the rest of the park sometimes. Those guys can really rock, and they're funny to boot. Who would have thought a bagpipe could be a rock instrument? They play M-Th 2:30, 3:30, 5:30. 6:30 and 7:30, and I've been known to catch all five shows more than once! Their version of Summer of 69 bowls me over every time I hear it.

Others have mentioned most of my other favorites, here they are in no particular order:
EWP
Pontoon Boat--we take a picnic lunch with us
Searching for Hidden Mickeys
Blueberry or chocolate muffins from Boardwalk Bakery
Chef Mickey's--for the food AND the fun
Walking the path from BWV to MGM early in the morning when no one is there
Using the Jacuzzi Tub in the villa
Hangin' out on my BWV terrace, bonus points if I luck into an illuminations view
Surrey Bike rental
Massahhhhhge
