DH, DD7, and I will be visiting WDW in late Oct- early Nov. We really don't have any desire to do MNSSHP (we're not into parades, and don't want to spend the extra $$)- do Epcot, MGM or AK do any fun things for Halloween evening, and are they crowded? We had planned to go to Boardwalk for their activities, or maybe try DTD- I heard DTD gets awfully crowded, though.

Anyone been to Disney and done something on Halloween evening besides MNSSHP? I'd love to hear your experiences! Thanks. :wizard:

We have always done MNSSHP, actually mutilple nights. We LOVE the event! There is alot more than just parades. BUT, that is not what you asked ;) , as far as the other parks I think they are business as usual. I have heard the boardwalk has some fun stuff going on and DTD, I have not been to them personally though.

I was at WDW over Halloween last year adn we did DTD it was crowded but my kids loved it. We did MNSSHP another night. We did AK on halloween during the day they had a few small activities for the kids nothing to go there for.

2 years ago we where there over Halloween and went to the Campfire at Fort Wilderness. They had a party, smores over the campfire, headless horsemen and chip and dale. They also played the movie The Legend of Sleepy Hallow.

It was quite fun, I just find it inconvenint to get to Fort Wilderness.

Hey, that might just be the thing to do! We were thinking we'd like to go to 'Ohana for dinner- we could hop on the monorail to MK, then get the boat over to FW. Would that be the best way to get to the campfire?

We attended for the first time Halloween 2004. We are going back this October just for this event! It is the best time at the MK that we have ever had. The decorations, parade, the music....just a lot of fun. I know that DTD has trick or treating on Halloween evening...that may be a fun alternative.
