I'm sorry that he cancelled Lorraine......did he reschedule for a date that's soon?

Hiya all,
Lars - Bracelet again looks great, but I still like the pink best!!
Merry - Any chance you could PM me the recipe? That pie sounds right up my street!
Well, take care all, am off to sleep...
Cya,
Gaspode

Melissa-I'm partial to the pink too...this one was my design for a Dis-Angel bracelet. That's why it's lime green :D

(For those of you confused, this is based on comments made on the riddle thread. Since we are usually the same group, I gave no explenation before making the pie comment earlier :p )

I guess this means the Angels are bi-threadal......

Alan, will you be getting the official Angel bracelet to go with your official Angel uniform?

No way..I'm not THAT bi-threadal :p

But the bracelets do look nice Lars...

I think the bracelet is beautiful Laura, you really have a talent for this! :D

My day was going according to plan (notice I didn't say normal!) until I got home just before 5 with the kids and assorted stuff from errands. I had Lew's car because mine was being serviced. I was closing the windows....and the drivers one was out of the track and wouldn't close!
Our garage is more of a playroom so there's not enough room for that car..........and it's supposed to rain tonight....and the dealer was closing in 1/2 hour. I made it there in time....got a rental...and they have Lew's car in their garage for the night. We made a pilgrimage to St. Krispy of the Kreme to say a prayer for the car to be fixed fast since we plan to take it to NJ this weekend.

Now I get to start on all the things I planned to do about 2 hours ago......
:(

Gail, if I had know, I would have prayed to St. Taco Bell when we were there earlier. I hope you can get it fixed. Why didn't you just cover it with plastic and duct tape left over from the terror alerts?

He said he would try for this Friday or Saturday. Today would have been perfect if he would have just come over - the ground wasn't even mushy.

Giving the kids a bath now - just thought I'd drop in.

Hi all... busy little bee finishing packing here, but I had to say hi.

Lars, I love the bracelet!!!! It is beautiful. My personal problem is that the two toggle bracelets I have had, I have lost. I am really hard on my jewelry and apparently those ends are terrible for me. I know many love those though, but claw and lobster clasps are best for me. I do really love the design of it!!!

Oh my goodness, Elaine, look at that countdown clock! I hope you have a wonderful and magical trip!! If you see a limo cruising around WDW, that might be us looking for you.;)

Laura, everything you have made is so beautiful. I can't wait to put my order in to you!

Laura, I really think you need an attorney to help you manage your soon-to-be thriving business!!! ;) I happen to be quite close to one!
(Notice I didn't say good lawyer - that's an oxymoron!)

okay.....final countdown for an angel trip to the world....who's with me???

Well all, I think I am done packing. At least I hope I am. I can't believe I am going tomorrow... it's so not real yet. I am sure it will all be different once that flight takes off tomorrow :)

I do plan to stop in tomorrow morning, but in case I am not around, I just wanted to wish you all the best this week and enjoy the weekend :sunny:

I took my friend Carol's advice and not only did I get a new garbage disposal, but the pipes to go with it, and a new sink and faucet. We had looked at this sink a couple of times, it is faux granite, dark grey and we both liked it. My appliances are black, my counter top is Colorado Slate Formica (too bad not just slate) so the gray will be perfect. I figured since the plumber was going to replace the pipes anyweay, why not do the whole thing. We currently have the original builder stainless steel 5.5 inch deep double sink. The faucet is from 1995, the owners had to replace the original before we settled, but now everything will be new! I will take pictures. So the only thing left to redo in the kitchen are the cabinets. I would like to paint them a light gray, but Pete thinks that won't work. I also want to cut out the front on at least one of them, I keep my crystal and stemware in it, I think it would look nice to have a glass front. Hey, they do it on TV all the time. Maybe I should call Vern from Trading Spaces or Lawrence from Changing Rooms to come and help. Of course, any of you angels can come out and help, the pool is open, the guest room is semi tidy. I keep bringing stuff home from work and the only place I have to put it right now is the bed. One of these days I'll get it together!

Elaine, have a good flight and I am sure we will talk next week. If you see Mickey, get a hug, will ya?

Darn those pool builders Lorraine. At least your yard is not a construction zone yet.

Laura, we need to rename you Miss B. Jeweled. I love those bracelets and earrings. And wine glass markers, such a talent you are.

Steph, are we talking the real trip or the Mel trip again?

Since I've had 2 requests, here is the pie I make:

Sour Cream Raisin Pie

1 1/4 c. sour cream
3/4 c. raisins
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
1 t. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 t. vanilla
1 pie shell
meringue topping optional (PM if you need a recipe)

Mix everything well and pour into the pie crust. Top with meringue if desired. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. We sometimes have it with whipped cream topping. I make a good sour cream peach pie, too. In fact, I kind of like it better. Oh the calories! LOL!

Elaine-If you want one of the lime green bracelets I can put any kind of clasp you'd like on it:D

I like your kitchen idea, Marsha. I think grey would be great for the cabinets. I also reccomend the glass front one. It adds interest. We are going to do several glass front cabinets in our new house.

Morning Angels!

Elaine - If I didn't miss you yet, have a great trip! We'll be waiting to hear all about it.

Still stuck on the riddle, so any help would be great!
