I took my friend Carol's advice and not only did I get a new garbage disposal, but the pipes to go with it, and a new sink and faucet. We had looked at this sink a couple of times, it is faux granite, dark grey and we both liked it. My appliances are black, my counter top is Colorado Slate Formica (too bad not just slate) so the gray will be perfect. I figured since the plumber was going to replace the pipes anyweay, why not do the whole thing. We currently have the original builder stainless steel 5.5 inch deep double sink. The faucet is from 1995, the owners had to replace the original before we settled, but now everything will be new! I will take pictures. So the only thing left to redo in the kitchen are the cabinets. I would like to paint them a light gray, but Pete thinks that won't work. I also want to cut out the front on at least one of them, I keep my crystal and stemware in it, I think it would look nice to have a glass front. Hey, they do it on TV all the time. Maybe I should call Vern from Trading Spaces or Lawrence from Changing Rooms to come and help. Of course, any of you angels can come out and help, the pool is open, the guest room is semi tidy. I keep bringing stuff home from work and the only place I have to put it right now is the bed. One of these days I'll get it together!
Elaine, have a good flight and I am sure we will talk next week. If you see Mickey, get a hug, will ya?
Darn those pool builders Lorraine. At least your yard is not a construction zone yet.
Laura, we need to rename you Miss B. Jeweled. I love those bracelets and earrings. And wine glass markers, such a talent you are.
Steph, are we talking the real trip or the Mel trip again?
