I had read of this practice once before, but quickly tossed it out of my little protestant mind. You may very well catch me with my shovel in a few months, however!
As far as finding one in my yard now to reuse, since the previous owners were Hindu, I find it unlikely
Remember, it is often my job to be the token "guy" around here, although some of the angels can do a good enough job themselves for certain stereotypes!
However, I'm afraid that I will ask for directions if necessary...
